Thank you for your comment! 🙏 Jezebel’s legacy is certainly complex-she was a strong and influential woman, though her actions have sparked debate for centuries. It’s fascinating to reflect on how her strength and determination could have been used differently. What do you think her legacy teaches us about leadership, power, and faith? I’d love to hear your thoughts! 🙌
Nice one, Just an opinion, what is the moral of the story? Jezebel should have chosen the religion of Israel. To believe in one True God. She should have influenced herself of the husband's soft heartednes. She could have used her strength, skills and talents to implement God's Righteousness in their reign. What do you imagine of a "Reformed Jezebel" if she lives nowadays?
Thank you for your insightful comment! 🙏 You bring up such an interesting perspective-what if Jezebel had chosen to follow the one true God of Israel? Her strength, skills, and influence could have been a powerful force for implementing righteousness and shaping Ahab’s reign for good. A "Reformed Jezebel" in today’s world is an intriguing thought. Perhaps she would use her boldness to advocate for justice, support the vulnerable, and lead with humility, all while glorifying God. It’s fascinating to imagine how her passion and determination could have been used to serve a higher purpose. What do you think her transformation might look like in modern times? Let’s continue the discussion-I’d love to hear your thoughts! 🙌
@@erictaylor1866 Thank you for sharing your perspective! The name Jezebel is indeed thought to carry negative connotations, especially as it has been associated with her biblical legacy. However, Ithobal or Ithobalus, often tied to her lineage, is generally linked to her father, Ethbaal, and means 'With Baal' or 'Man of Baal.' The interpretations of her name and its origins are fascinating and complex, shaped by both biblical narratives and historical context. If you have additional insights or sources, I’d love to hear more!
Thanks for your comment! 😊 Our goal with this video wasn’t to make Jezebel a 'good girl,' but to explore her story from a different perspective, one that history and culture often overlook. Understanding her life doesn’t mean justifying her actions-it’s about learning from her choices and seeing how they shaped the biblical narrative. What do you think about her story after watching?
Very well made, possibly she had such thoughts and saw herself like this. One's thoughts do not necessarily reflect what's true or good. Maybe one of worst spirit that exist operates like that.
Thank you for your insight! 🙏 It’s interesting to consider how Jezebel might have seen herself versus how history and scripture portray her. Your point about thoughts not always reflecting truth or goodness is so profound-especially when considering the spiritual dynamics at play in her story. What lessons do you think we can learn from her life and the influence of such a spirit today? Let’s discuss! 🙌
@BibleStories.OfficialChannel I believe that people influenced by this spirit are often unaware of it, and they might genuinely think they are on the right path. However, they have been deceived by the spirit. As a result, this spirit operates through lies and deceit. Consequently, we must value truth and avoid lies and deception at all costs, as they can erode our ability to distinguish between right and wrong. Many people take this issue too lightly-which might even open doors for this spirit. A little deceit here, a small lie there, pretending to be slightly better than we are-these things can slowly take root. Consider Ahab, who pretended to be endlessly kind, yet cared nothing for what happened to Naboth in the end. Similarly, the Pharisees wanted to appear righteous in front of others. But in doing so, they not only deceived the people but also became victims of their own self-deception. Therefore, we must pursue truth and hold it in high regard, even when it exposes our flaws. Truth sets us free. We should engage in self-reflection-through honest conversations with others and by examining ourselves in the light of God.

Jezebal which means "shit god" was not her true name, her true name was Ithabal which meant Woman of God.
