Nice video, is that an mx3 you are dismantling or an mx4? I ask because I was curious if both gearboxes have the same sockets. You are selling the same motor for both mx3 and mx4. I heard the gearbox mx3 and mx4 differ.

they are the same just better mounting points on the mx4

They're sensors that read the position of the magnets in the motor to deliver smooth power. Encoders are newer technology but they essentially do the same thing. Which one you should get will depend on what controller you plan to use. Some work with encoders some work with hall sensors
