Jazza, I hope you understand what an impact you do to your viewers. Personaly I get very nervous for no reason and it seems like the world is falling apart but when I watch your videos i calm down. I also dont have a good realationship with my father and Im confused of how father love feels sometimes, I dont know how it feels to have a father but you show me a very good example. We always had our babies spend time with us in our bed before they went to bed. It was time they could ask questions and just have our undivided attention. We’ve had some of the best and deepest conversations in those moments before bed. Our youngest (of 4) is 16 now and he and our adult children still come into our room , fill up our bed , and we have some great conversations. I will always cherish these moments and talks. ❤️🥰

My Dad can’t watch these without getting all teary about when I was a baby; he always said I was all smiles. My terrible twos were more like at age four, but other than that, lol. He absolutely can’t wait for grandkids. With me at 29 and my brother at 32 in February, he had expected to be enjoying that grandfather stage of life by now, but both of his kids are still single! Poor Da!! But, for now, there are videos like this to get him through! Of all the RUclips creators that show their kids, this family dynamic echoes ours the most, in several ways, and he always enjoys both seeing a new generation exploring what it means to be a family and seeing this other side of Jazza! It’s been fun to talk with him about how it was when I was little, and these videos always accomplish that. He almost died when I was six or so, and had to step down from being the Head of the ER, and I don’t really remember much from that time or anything before it. But occasionally, talking will prompt a memory or two, and that’s a really cool thing. Incidental stuff that he’d maybe not think of to mention gets brought up when he sees videos of other families. Like how my brother would say, “Boo abbies,” for “more raisins,” or “Boo abbah,” for “more water.” 😅 Then I had a memory of me sort of bouncing up and down saying, “Boo, Boo, boo, boo!” When we were blowing bubbles popped up, and that suddenly made sense! I liked the pretty bubbles and was excited and wanted more of them swirling around in the air. It’s one of like two dozen memories I’d not have if it wasn’t for this routine. And while they’re not... earthshaking discoveries, they do help me remember a time before things changed. I became ill at 11 and my health has been sliding ever since. My mom’s illness (which I inherited) kept getting worse and now she has late stage cancer. My brother started getting intensely bullied in school and had to be homeschooled. So many dynamics changed by the time I was ten, and I barely remember any of life before then. It means a lot to sort of... retroactively get a glimpse of that. So for many reasons, from me and my Da, thank you for posting. Whether we see any of them or not, I hope your family has many wonderful and joy filled holidays to come, and that you can enjoy them in good health. This year has sucked because everyone in my family is ill now, and it’s really hard to get together, and it’s even harder to not obsess and worry about them. Jazza‘s videos have given me positive distraction and let me... think about other things, get the courage up to try things and be fine with failing (it’s just practice after all!). There’s a list of RUclipsrs who have made this year more bearable, and he’s on it. Here’s to a NEW year, hopefully one that is better, but certainly one full of creativity.
I only just got around to viewing this and as a fellow Victorian my first thought was "thank golly my kids didn't wake up that early". It was still dark outside, in Geelong that puts it well before 6am during the summer holiday break.
