So as a YUGE Spiritbox fan, the opportunity to see them live was serene. Instead of doing the obvious and explaining how miraculous Courtney and crew were I'm going to take a different approach (because it goes without saying how great they are live), but Zev Rose killed it. As a fellow drummer this dude did a fantastic job. It's easy to get lost in Courtney's vocals but we gotta pay respect to the man in charge of the backbone of each and every song. Well done Zev, you done good!
I love them both. Huge fan of both bands. But my competitive nature has me leaning towards Tati and Jinjer. But I will reserve final judgment until I see both of them live. Which I will be seeing Jinjer on Dec 2!!!

The more shows they do the more confidence they get. They'll be more sure of their music once you see everyone moving. It's how it goes. You're nervous at first to people's reactions. You got to understand, those are all new ears and eyes out there, and that's all you're thinking about... Will they like it? They're in the building stage. Building up their fanbase. These big festivals are perfect for building that confidence. Compared to Jinjer Tati is very confident because she's been at it for a while with her band. It's not a new baby even though people think they are new. It's all a phase!
28:45 - End of Circle With Me, I was really looking forward to hearing her hit those notes like on the album, but was not disappointed by the screamed higher notes. such a nice touch.
I've heard this band floating around on Liquid Metal for the past couple years. While I don't hate them, they just never had a giant click for me. i gotta say though, I'm 1 minute into this performance and, holy shit, Courtney is a f'n MONSTER on that mic. She sounds amazing. Whole band sounds tight AF. Conclusion, I may not LOVE these guys, but jesus, what a live performance!

Anyone else ever notice in all these iPhone videos of live sets, there's at least one or two guys filming the set with $20,000 cinema cameras, but you can never find the "Pro Shot" video of the set anywhere on the internet?
That's all on the band or label. Everything gets filmed and it's up to them to pay the fee to get it. Jinjer usually buys their performance and you'll see on RUclips. Anthrax released theirs from this festival.
A lot phones now a days have good sound. I went to Rockville and recorded tons of videos on my iPhone 12 Pro Max with excellent 4K recording and perfectly clear sound
Team iPhone. iPhone XR to be exact. A lot of my older videos I’ve recorded (mainly for myself but still have them uploaded because I grew up watching band live videos on RUclips) are all recorded on iPhones. The video quality has improved over the years when I first started doing it as a hobby in 2013 with an iPhone 5C, and probably will upgrade next year. RUclips will still butcher the video quality compared to viewing it on my phone though.
