  • ‪@ShazyShaze‬ A collection of bugs both small and large that I have found while playing the updated Steam Demo.
    Steps to reproduce
    1. 0:10, open the settings menu while moving quickly. it will detach from the middle of the screen
    2. 0:24, jump down the pit, specifically on the right side. going too far to the left will unlock the screen and you'll fall past the hurt plane. i don't know if you're supposed to hear any sounds after dying in the pit?
    3. 0:57, pause the game above a little blue collectible (idk what they're called sorry), and hit restart. you should fall down and collect the thingy as the stage resets. you should have it afterwards
    4. 1:30, roll down into this spot and you will get stuck until you jump or use burst
    5. 1:56, move to the right of the disc, that's all
    6. 2:45, restart the stage after you grab a checkpoint. you will keep your position (good) and also reset your time to zero (bad)
    7. 2:55, make sure you're going purple speed on the ground, and jump right before the flag. if you're lucky you should soar right past the goal post and into the void beyond. dying after doing this will clear your checkpoint if you had grabbed it before.
    8. 3:15, wall jump carefully then fall down to gain blue speed. just before the fan pushes you back, burst diagonally up-left to break free from the wind. jumping off of the left side of the screen will send you into a truly bottomless pit
    9. 3:52, there's nothing special to triggering this bug, just enter the boss area and let the drone finish his speech. once it's over, the game will crash.
    10. 4:15 - 7:17, this one is super crazy, and also super easy to pull off (but rather time consuming). this is an extension of bug 7 (maybe these should both be one entry but whatever the video is already rendered). so apparently, finishing the level and then dying will send you back to the beginning of the stage as if it had simply restarted, but it actually thinks that you beat the level. when you complete the same stage again, the game will think that you have beat the next level too. that is to say if you beat level 3, die, beat level 3 again, you will skip straight to level 5 (the boss).
    7:17 extension of 10, dying twice will send you to the demo's results screen with your final time
    7:59 extension of 10, dying three times will send you to an otherwise inaccessible main menu like screen, with options to select from on the left, and other flavour text on the right. i also saw this in the itch demo one (1) time and then never again, so it's cool to see it here again
    8:47 extension of 10, nothing special seems to happen after the fourth death, but options chosen on the augments(?) screen do persist after closing the demo. haven't tested five (yet).
