Shikata-sama is one of the best Japanese singers I've listened to and I bet she and all the other Japanese artists I've listened to could beat out most american artists anyday in both sides' respective main genre of music! But back to Shikata herself, she's just an amazing artist altogether and combined with Akira Tsuchiya and his arranging and original language creations, they are UNSTOPPABLE!!!!

As for TSFH, I too think they're an awesome artist and are on par with Shikata and Epic Score and other artists, but when I said most American artists, I was talking about people who do vocals, like Kesha, Justin Gayber/Beaver, and any other American artist that are overcompensated a compel their music to the whims of sensationalism. I love this song. I hope Akiko Shikata later releases the full version she did in her Laylania concert.
By the way, according to the preview for the original soundtrack, the proper title for this song is フラスコの海 (translates to "Flask Sea").

I agree. Those mainstream vocalists are totally overrated. How about Loreena McKinnet and Secret Garden? They do some amazing vocal music as well.
