That is not the football programs 'jet' - Large Universities like Tech lease a plane that is available to all programs. Programs have to schedule usage through the Athletic Director's or President's Office.

That flight costed ~$1300 round trip, the King Air 90's aren't as expensive as you'd imagine. I'd say it was money well spent considering it is only once a year.
