It's good and i totally understand your point that people take free things for granted.... But.... 1. these charges are soo high and we are motivated to do courses One after the other.... There are so many charges 2. These charges are so high that means poor cannot attend these courses.... Atleast there should be some alternative (for the poor or say students who don't earn+ there family doesn't allow in such activities) where may be the teacher can decide if there can be some discount if not free of charge or any other way you can think of... It's a request please think about it for students atleast.....

Shuveshek Rai they have very good business strategies. Somehow they are getting hold of IT guys and showing to others that we have people from big companies and all that. Charging the course is not wrong, but making it a business is absolutely wrong with some extreme expensive courses one after the other with no end just for a better life.
Great .... Service is one own personal interest weather they are really motivated for it or not.... But art of living programs /courses are more of give and take policy . You pay some fees and invest time for it and then you gain some skills like mind management, breathing techniques etc etc.....which inturn can useful for building your career and relationship nothing wrong in collecting fees

Dude i have similar experience I was invloved with them too much few years ago One fruit vendor was hardly able to make his daily neeeds food etc One teacher lady was making fun of THAT just because fruit vendor refused to join course due to lack of money to make A/C hall fees ... I totally lost my interest with them . Not good . They are making fun of poor vendor and pressuring him to join A/C hall courses just sake of there headcount and fees. yoga meditation ok But they lost there main aim and become commercialized. You can repeat the course any number of times, you can attend followup sessions every week, there are daily practice which happens online on Art of Living App - that is also free afterwards. So, if you calculate like that - it won't be more than 10 INR for a day even if you practice for just 1 year

For people who think it's charged a lot. I come from a small town, here the same course i taught for free, for the Slum area people who can't afford to pay. The price of the course is half here.. so i think it depends on the city and paying capacity of the people. In a metro city the course is charged the full amount.. in a resort location it's charged twice more.. and in a small town it's charged half or so. The knowledge that you get in the course... Is quite more valuable that the price one is paying for it. And yet, people complain. 2-3k hum log ek din resturant chale gaye friends ke sath tho uda dete hai. But same amount you've to soend for your peace of mind.. which is a delayed gratification, not instant.. everyone thinks it's not worthwhile. I guess people complaining about cost, are the people, who don't really know the value of the knowledge there.. or the logistical cost of hosting a premium , comfortable and Luxury course. Your paying for the fancy packaging folks.. if it wasn't fancy, many won't look twice.. or ever take it seriously.

We are not living in those good old days where only rich can afford a Guru or have a sense of giving Dakshina, in democracy every one has the right to enjoy the company of enlightened master equally, in Thirumala Lord Venkateswara says you give me money to pay the debt of my marriage and I will take care of you. Probably this is how the Kalyug works, not on charities but a combination of head and heart.
it is ok to charge and ok to receive donations and volunteer work. Either is beneficial and conducive to community. Charging will be for some and not for others; they can participate or not, depending on their desire. It is ok to run a business, the message and what people take away from it is the same, whether it is free or for expense.
With the current economic model and the current mindset and unawareness of people; this is the best model. But i get your concern. But the modern world runs on business, brands: and this of course requires money. I don't believe any spiritual teaching has been given free; one gives his ultimate commitment, devotion, life itself- money is such a small thing in comparison. Charging the course is not wrong, but making it a business is absolutely wrong with some extreme expensive courses one after the other with no end just for a better life.

You can repeat the course any number of times, you can attend followup sessions every week, there are daily practice which happens online on Art of Living App - that is also free afterwards. So, if you calculate like that - it won't be more than 10 INR for a day even if you practice for just 1 year

For people who think it's charged a lot. I come from a small town, here the same course i taught for free, for the Slum area people who can't afford to pay. The price of the course is half here.. so i think it depends on the city and paying capacity of the people. In a metro city the course is charged the full amount.. in a resort location it's charged twice more.. and in a small town it's charged half or so.
The knowledge that you get in the course... Is quite more valuable that the price one is paying for it. And yet, people complain. 2-3k hum log ek din resturant chale gaye friends ke sath tho uda dete hai. But same amount you've to soend for your peace of mind.. which is a delayed gratification, not instant.. everyone thinks it's not worthwhile. I guess people complaining about cost, are the people, who don't really know the value of the knowledge there.. or the logistical cost of hosting a premium , comfortable and Luxury course. Initially zoom course fees was 1250 than when shree Shree ravishankar’s marketing team realised it can be a great hit they made it to 2000 which is 60% hike.In this pandemic where there is financial crisis you guys are looting the people in the name of religion.All the world is suffering Govts across the globe are working to give relief packages to their citizens.you guys are working how to loot more money from pocket of people.Give me one reason for 60% hike under a situation where people are getting unemployed and facing salary cuts.

We are not living in those good old days where only rich can afford a Guru or have a sense of giving Dakshina, in democracy every one has the right to enjoy the company of enlightened master equally, in Thirumala Lord Venkateswara says you give me money to pay the debt of my marriage and I will take care of you. Probably this is how the Kalyug works, not on charities but a combination of head and heart.
it is ok to charge and ok to receive donations and volunteer work. Either is beneficial and conducive to community. Charging will be for some and not for others; they can participate or not, depending on their desire. It is ok to run a business, the message and what people take away from it is the same, whether it is free or for expense.
With the current economic model and the current mindset and unawareness of people; this is the best model. But i get your concern. But the modern world runs on business, brands: and this of course requires money. I don't believe any spiritual teaching has been given free; one gives his ultimate commitment, devotion, life itself- money is such a small thing in comparison. So these two factors play important role.
@@Indians2022 I will look like a beggar if I give the technique for free, already for me He would have looked like that and I would not have respected Him as much as I do now, also Gurudev likes to make the world more challenging , He is not here to create devotees, and there have been ample experiments that when u charge less the people showed little interest in the course and when I charge more they would come to be interested to learn more, ego is very important , only when it rises high it feels comfortable to rest, all avatars come only after the asuras have exerted their ego to the peaks, so in today's world u should feel more proud that Art of Living is charging so much and yet so many are enjoying it, it's pride for yoga and for India, and also allows us Indians not to be lazy and work , since His presence and love are so addictive :)
