Would you recommend the G6 or the G12?
While the G6 has a smaller footprint width-wise, I’d recommend the G12.
The G12 has more interior working space and is shorter, so people with lower ceilings are accommodated.
If you have a wide enough space, the G12 is, IMO, the better choice. Those who have limited space but higher ceilings usually opt for the G6.

I'm looking at getting some equipment for some spare space in my garage, because I'm a shift worker and can't always make it to my franchise gym to work out. Thank you for the reviews, they've really been helping so far! I've been trying to decide between the G6 and the G12. Would you say the G6 gives good space to work chest on cable crossover movements? Also is the 2:1 ratio (coming out to 110 lbs on each side) sufficient? Thanks Stevie!
The G12 definitely has more room inside for Smith machine work like bench press. I found the G6 to be a bit tight for that and prefer the G12.
The 2:1 ratio, in my opinion, isn’t as much of a dealbreaker. I have the previous mode G6 with 2:1 ratio and it hasn’t hurt my workouts at all.

I brought a Monster G9 last week, got assembled, and used it for the first time this morning. Your interview with them was what sold me, plus your reviews on it. The only thing I dislike and I've sent them a message is they must've slightly tweaked the pull-up bars to be more like the G3 bars, which I really dislike. Hopefully they can send the one that is on the site. Otherwise it super solid, zero 'side-to-side' racking and the movement of the pulleys and smith machine are flawless. So I appreciate the reviews Steve. UPDATE: Feb 25th, Force USA sent me out the original pull-up bar and I got it installed in under 5 minutes. Their service has been fantastic.
I got my monster G12 today and I too received the incorrect pull-up accessory. I recently sent them an email and awaiting their response.

I’m really keen to know your thoughts on the cable fly’s. Are you restricted by the size of the spacing as it looks quiet limited? I’ve seen someone before do this and they looked a little awkward like they needed a bit more overall room? This is the only thing I’m trying that is making me lean more towards the G12. Would love some advice?

There are none officially compatible at this time. I’ve asked Force USA about creating this attachment. It would be awesome.
Did they get rid of the Westside spacing for the free bar holders on the newer models? That seems like a massive downgrade.
I believe the G9 and G12 still have it.
Can the leg press be used as a foot plate for low rows?
No. The foot plate faces down towards the floor when installed.
