- My Own Genuine ghost photo taken at Tintern Abbey, I didnt do anything with this photo, what you see is what the camera captured. Could this be a ghost? as there appears to be either one or two figures stood in the window of the abbey- one in dressed black and the other greyish and less solid.

Well I thought it looked like a monk dressed in black, either facing to the front or the side, and another grey looking figure on the other side of the window, Thanks very much for your comment.
Gloriously beautiful photographs! It's easy to think that the monks might want to stay on in such a peaceful, lovely setting.

Just imagine what this place looked like when that monk walked the grounds in the flesh.
A shadow it could possibly be but it was most certainly NOT enhanced by photoshop ! I dont like faked ghost photos.

The Abbey is set in a beautiful Location in a beautiful part of our country,I always feel you can feel the power of the river Wye,proud to live not far away.
I can’t think of a better place to haunt. I’ve been to Tintern Abbey several times and I fell in love with the place the moment I saw it. It has a wonderful serene atmosphere and is set in a beautiful area. When Covid is all over I really recommend paying it a visit.
I also have a photo from this place which is terrifying. In the upper arches, similar to this one, there is an old lady dressed like a nun. Her face is visible and she appears to be looking out over the grounds.

My father and one of his friends were once having a drive down some road and my father went to sleep. He said he woke up after dreaming about an abbey on fire and he was watching it. He told his friend and his friend turned to look at him and said "is that it!?" and pointed to a run down abbey that was covered in ash.

Nearby my town, Treviso (Italy), there's the oldest templar church, it is said a ghost of a templar knight appears among the trees that sorround this place.

I completely agree...you would need another photo showing the window structure. As much as I want to believe the photo...I feel it is only shadows of the abbey caused by the sun.

What was behind the window? Looks like it could have been a pillar or something, or a shadow on the wall behind it from something adjacent.
Wasn’t there a program in the 80s where some young lads heard something running and saw a monk run upstairs I think I recall

I cant help wondering if these comments are due to the viewers narrowness of vision, or of mind .I have the advantage of looking at this image on an immense screen, no boast, just a fact , and there is no doubt that this is a shot of two robed spirits (possibly living people) , but no shadows of vague somethings.I respect GhostWatcing and the quality of her channel s content , Photoshop? No. Would love to see some new uploads though.

around five years ago i lived in tintern and was pursued to go over to the abbey on a ghost hunt, as a non beleaver i went but was very skeptical to say the least. on arriving the person i was with started to do the usual "most haunted" wowo shit,. asking for a sign ect i remember it as tho it was yesterday as this was the point i went from sinical sceptic to believer, the first 4 call-outs the wind came thru the abbey or stop respectively, at this point i was still telling my self that it ...

Wow i saw them, methinks you should go to Norham castle and the Church of the Merchant adventures guild in York, to see what you can see, my mother saw ghosts there as true as i'm sitting at this computer.

@kyprosal1 Yes, but you can get ghosts in all colours, have you ever heard of white ladies, blue ladies etc. Perhaps when an image is replayed over many hundreds of years as with a ghost the colours change like viewing a hologram.
Very clearly two monks can be seen. They appear also to see you and one monk in the background seems to call his friend to turn and leave.

....was no more that coincidence but then the person i was with asked for a different sign on this i and i alone heard a bell within the confinds of the abbey but faded like it was at a distance, when i found out it was only me that heard it i became pritty dam spoked and said that i had to leave, when leaving the person i was with said jokingly "imagine if thay where watching us leave" as we turned to look at the abbey we both saw the figure that has been captured here only not in that ...
..But we have as many ghosts in the buildings we do have.
This is an illusion. At the angle this the camera was shooting it picked up what looked like a monk. It is like looking in the clouds and seeing figures but we all know that it's not there. The area of this old building is like the rest of the bulding with holes and and sections in decay and ruin. Go back and look at it you will find that the hole is still there but if you look at it from a different angle it will not look like a monk. People want to believe.
I generally love the stuff you guys do. (Except orbs. Too many people put way too much emphasis on them.) I wasn't suggesting that you faked anything. I was referring to altering brightness or contrast to bring something more into how you feel it could make people easier understand what you see in the picture. I'd much rather see a hazy or ill defined picture, and make my own judgement on what I may see there.
You all can believe what ever you want, BUT I, not more than 24hrs ago caught 3 faces on my digital camera looking out at me. I was not photographing for that reason but, clear as day, they're there. At 8am, same time the next day I took more of the same window, same lighting and, nothing. I want to upload to you tube so all may see and decide. Oh and by the way, I don't know how to use photo shop!

im soo scared i cant move. i was half way through this video and i was going to put the volume down cus it was too loud. and when i mess with my volume it makes a clicking slound. the clicking sound wont stop now and the volume keeps moving bback and forth ... im scared.

I've investigated many sites in my younger days, and worked as pro photographer. These appear to be real phantom images.

It is believed by some that ghosts are holograms. Holograms of history, if it were.
Cool image. But to me to looks like a shadow or something behind the window. While I'm a firm believer in ghost, did not seem as one. But not to say what I say is right, it's just what I think.
I don't even see the image of people in this photo. I guess you have to be trying very hard to see it that way..

Correction, you by your own words define yourself as lacking vision. I have not been to the place in question, but we are referring to a photo, where the image itself tells .It is clear that the human shapes are overlaying the backdrop, and evidently standing directly behind the window frame. As to belief in ghosts, i am not hooked as you put it, but apparently broader of vision. I have witnessed many spirit phenomenon personally, and am beyond doubt. Say whatever.

I have seen and spoken to a ghostly monk at this Abby! I said, " are you a ghost?" And he replied in a soft quite voice, " Yes" I said "really?" He replied in the same tone of voice "Yes, indeed I am" I said "fuckin 'ell!" He said " I hope so, I'm just on my way there now " 😂🤣👻

I think the giveaway here is the scaffolding in the background where anyone could have taken up position at the window. Come chaps do better or don't bother.
