Genesis coupe cup holder removable/ ebrake adjustment

I remove the cup holder and tray to adjust my ebrake since I had it loose ever since I bought the car. Video for those who need visual instruction if you need to adjust the ebrake here is the forum I found helpful to do so plus I explain a little on how to do so. Taking the center console apart isnt needed. There is a little carpet piece in your center console and the ebrake bolt is right under it.

He seems to have the earlier years coupe. My 2016 has a cut out. Maybe his doesn't have it. He couldn't be that scatterbrained.

i have a 2010 made 2009 august, it has the cutout in console under carpet this is all unnecessary.

@@spaace9414 it is kind of a pain in the ass to do it thru the little opening. I had to hold the cables from twisting with pliers as I turned the turnbuckle nut. But yeah I think I'd rather deal with that than take the whole center console apart.

I have a 2010 and the first thing I did was tighted the ebrake, thought it was common sense that it’s right under the middle console thing 😂

what year it is? 3.6L?

He clearly states 2.0T at the beginning. As for year it will be a 1st gen, 2009-2012. and there is no 3.6L. Only 3.8 and 2.0T
