Everthing looks beautiful. I loved seeing all the bulbs as ground cover. Stunning. I can't wait to see that laurel hedge. I can tell its going to look amazing. Great work.

The bulbs are in full bloom now, daffodils next then bluebells. Spring appears to be so much earlier these days due to our mild winters, very little snow again this year. Laurel not my favourite, wouldn’t plant it again but I’m trying to make the best out of it. Thanks as always for watching 😊

@@thequarrygardener5578I enjoy following your channel. Thanks for sharing your journey with us. Take care. I'm jealous your bulbs are up and growing. Ours are just barely poking out of the soil.

Love your white garden, your hard work will pay back in coming season.Gardening is endless hard word but also a fun job . I pruned all my 100 hydrangeas in last two days.

Wow that is a lot of hydrangeas, I look forward to seeing them. I’ve several young hydrangea shrubs to plant which I grew from cuttings 2 years ago, they are Annabelle’s. They are still young shrubs but I’m going to plant them in the borders in the next couple of weeks. Thanks for watching 😊

Steaming in the Johannesburg heatwave, I am loving watching you work in the cold and wet. The spring bulbs are glorious. I am enjoying your story, thank you

Sue your spring garden is just glorious! And that beautiful sparrow hawk ❤ It is always a pleasure to see what you are doing in your garden - you've got some mad skills with that hedge shearer! I'm starting to prune my Annabelles this week too, such a pleasure to get outside and garden again😊

Good evening Lynn. The spring flowers are in full flow here, daffodils next to flower, which will probably be in the next week with our mild weather. My husband watched the video and his response was similar to yours, to use his words ‘your a one woman army, a crazy woman with a hedge trimmer’ 😊. Thanks for watching, hopefully another video next Saturday.

Sue, your Spring borders are looking wonderful. I've been in my garden for a few hours today and it was so nice to seeing everything coming back to life. My snowdrops have gone over now. Yours look amazing.

Good evening, I’ve pottered around the garden today and I noticed the winter aconites have finished flowering and my snowdrops too have nearly gone over. I know it’s not officially spring yet but the garden doesn’t care, everything flowers so much earlier now, certainly in our UK climate. Thanks for watching 😊

Oh my, your gardens are looking awesome! So lush and beautiful. The laurel hedge is going to be great, too. Thank you for sharing! (Also, I take nature photos and get lots of photos of all kinds of hawks EXCEPT FOR Sparrowhawks, so that was super cool to see❣ Along with the pheasants!)

Pure luck to capture the sparrowhawk on that day. I’ve spotted her quite a few times over several days but she’s flown before I’ve managed to film her. The pheasants live in the garden now, they follow me around. Didn’t take them long to work out there’s food available every day 😊. Thanks for watching, much appreciated 🙏

Good morning Sue! So glad to catch your video this morning. Was concerned not seeing you these past few weeks, was hoping it was due to weather, and not something more serious. Just loved the tour of the borders, and the update on changes in the white garden. We still have snow covered fields, but the gardens are bare, and daffodils are starting to poke up through the soil. It’s far too early for us, and more snow is forecasted for the coming weekend. It’s certainly been an unusual winter here in Canada. Look forward to more updates from you.

Hello and good evening, yes the weather is preventing most of the work and changes I want to make in the garden, it’s been a washout for weeks now. Our winters have changed so much in the last few years, very little snow but months of rain. I’ve definitely switched to spring mode though, that’s tough that you have more snow forecast, you certainly have much longer and colder winters than we ever experience here. It so lifts your mood when the first bulbs push through the frozen ground, not long for you now 😊.

I think if you could put two or three hyndrangeras where the box were, it might work ??

Yes I agree, it’s a good idea. I’ve got several young Annabelle shrubs in pots that I’ve grown from cuttings which I’ll add in the coming weeks. They are young shrubs but hopefully should mature in a couple of years. Thanks for watching and for the good idea 👍😊
