Transcript: I couldn't use the three dots to retrieve it on the last class. How can I get the transcript for the previous class and this one? I'm on RUclips. Do I need to be on a different platform?

So in this case you had the maiden name of Martha. I have a couple of cases where I don't have maiden names and can't find marriages either. I have the husband's name, but no maiden name for the wife, so not sure how I'd use this method if I don't know what surnames are connecting to her to look for in the first place. In fact I've tried to do a lot of research on her. She died before the 1850 Census and when she still had minor children. I have a probate record that names a couple of her married sisters, but again, maiden names are not available. This part of New York didn't record marriages or much else during this time, but land records. I just haven't been able to find the definitive name in the Fan club to tip me off either. I don't seem to have a lot of known matches to her and her husband either at present. Am going to have to hope for some good descendants to test to help me with this situation!

Have you done as much research as you can on the sisters? What about checking out witnesses on her husband's deeds? Maybe some of her relations were involved with ther land transactions.
In my current project I'd been trying to find the mom's family. This couple were born around 1810. This is NC, and their marriage certificate was burned when their hometown courthouse was burned during the Civil War.
I knew her maiden name from the son's death certificate, Dillon. I found a Henry Dillon selling them some of their first land, and figured that was her brother. I kept trying to place her in that family, but thought she was just an undocumented daughter. Took me months to find a deed where she got some of her father's property after his death. She and her husband were mentioned. Her father was who I had thought was her uncle. I had been trying hard to fit her in her cousin's family.
