Your comment stopped me as we lost my aunt last year to triple negative breast cancer and she was 70. She had much more to give. It makes me so glad to hear of a survivor who can have these precious years of life after illness. Wishing you health and happiness

Please continue to seek the mental health help that you need. Mind and body have to be in sync for complete healing. Take time for yourself to adjust to your new normals. Give yourself some grace as you deserve it. Hold your head high, Warrior Queen. You have faced your enemy and you have made it to the other side. Shed a tear or 100 if needed but know you WON! Be bold, be proud but most of all, be happy!! With admiration and much respect from across the pond.
Oncologists won’t over treat, so you’ll only get chemo if necessary or enough benefit. Some breast cancer types (like triple negative I have) have far fewer treatment options or are more aggressive so chemo is more likely, can also depend on the stage of cancer. Scans aren’t overused either, only if there is local spread (to check it’s not gone further) or if you’ve got symptoms to check out. It’s great to see a cancer patient having a massage as there are still so many myths and fears about this. I’m fortunate I have two great therapists who are oncology massage trained 😊
Great to hear. We stimulate our lymph simply by getting up, moving around, gong about our daily activities. So does massage but in a way that directed to remove toxins. So long as the therapist understands the map of the body’s lymph and avoids key areas depending on the diagnosis. Thank you so much for your story 🙏

I’m a 17 year breast cancer survivor (diagnosed at 28), and my constant struggle is tight scar tissue limiting my range of motion. I’m looking forward to this video!
I am 9 months breast cancer free! After my 6 months of chemo were finished last May, I had a DMX with an immediate DIEP flap. I still have swelling in my abdomen and would like to learn more about getting an abdominal massage to hopefully help the swelling go down over time. I’m looking forward to the upcoming video! I really enjoy your channel! Thanks for making such relaxing and informative videos!
I had molar pregnancy turned cancer last year, I’ve been chemo free since April 23. In 1% of 1% of pregnancies, instead of a baby, a tumor can use the hcg hormone to grow. I had surgery, tons of tests and 5 months of chemo. All because I wanted to give my son a sibling. Still hoping for a miracle rainbow now that my doctor has cleared my case!

My Mum has a rare eye cancer called Ocular Melanoma. Because its 'rare' (yet hundreds of people are diagnosed every year) treatment isn't funded for it. Thankfully OcuMel UK are a fab charity who have been her (and our family's) lifeline.
