Wow, beautiful area! Thanks for taking a walk outside the box. Living on land in a quieter and more spacious area like this yet close to town and the ocean would work well for me. ☺️
Thanks for sharing beautiful scenery with great narrative with excellent editing video . I'll be arriving Managua Jan 20, looking forward to meeting you next week Scott 👍
Always love the walks and how gorgeous are all those trees, thank you! Seeing where the city bus turns around was a bonus. I will have to find out the schedules, even if approx. I thought W Subtiava might be too far from transport access, but there it was. Can an expat on tourist visa own or long term rent a scooter/motorcycle in Leon? I am fantasizing about scootin to the beach. I assume there are daily rentals, but that gets untenable financially. Love the walks and hope your foot is improving. Salud!
Using a scooter in Nicaragua is dangerous and complex and doing so in the city is super hard and there are risks to being out on the highway. So the idea of renting turns out to be something that doesn't make sense like it seems like it would. Don't get me wrong, my team scoots around all the time, Allen goes everywhere by scooter... but it's a tough learning curve and carries a lot of danger (from traffic.) Scooters are vulnerable to bad traffic, rough roads, crazy drivers... if you are a scooter expert just buy one and sell it when you leave. BUt there's no market for rentals because in reality, it would be high liability, lots of damage to scooters and many unhappy renters.
Love the bario walking videos.
Me too, going to be trying to get a lot more of them.
19:19- 19:59 Amazing 🤩

Own a scooter, sure. Lots of people do. Rent, no, there aren't rental options here in Leon :)

Is that a chicken bus?
That's a city bus, but basically the same thing.
