Most ads explain whether or not to mount in the ceiling, sorry you missed it. Sounds like you have good airflow already, if the booster is not noticeably better.
@@jdmediahub I also have a ceiling mount vent. I went with a 6" inline duct vent fan which I installed in the attic close to the unit. It required a separate temp control sensor. This way, it is programmed to come on when the AC comes on, any noise it makes is shared by the main unit (so I don't even know it's there) AND I get to keep the original register that diverts air in the room as it is meant to. I'll attempt to post amaz0n links next message, not sure if they'll be blocked so won't include them in this message body. Cost me just at $100 total.
Thanks all for the insight and the advice. I’m going to wait until the weather (heat of summer) breaks then add some additional venting that was described by Michael below.
Thanks for trying and sharing your experience,.
You are so welcome
Good video .. my original ceiling vent is larger in turn leaving a gap
Returning mines too
Thanks! Best of luck.
See my comments above about adding an inline duct booster.

Yeah airflow was ok for 9 months a year. Summer is whole different thing in SC. I was trying to have an option for June-Sept.
Thank you for the honest review. Did you come across a product that works?
Thanks for the subscribe. I wish I did find something. If I did then I’d post for sure.
