- In this video, I will show you how to create these gorgeous cards by making your own designer paper. You can create whatever background you want, but I hope this inspires you. I used the Flowing Flowers, Very Versailles, Timeless Tulips, Forever Fern, Butterfly Brilliance and Artistically Inked stamp sets from Stampin Up!

I’m the boring one too Lisa, so you are not alone :) The grandies come to stay with nanny sometimes, but my daughter always stays with her dad :)
It kind of drives me crazy. I did everything for her growing up and we were so close but when we got divorced, she was getting ready to graduate from high school and she took his side. I was so hurt. He had an affair and left me after 25 years for another woman. They got married as soon as our divorce was final. Our relationship has never been the same.
@@stampingwithlisa I feel for you hunny :( I know how heartbreaking it is to find there's another woman :( With your daughter though, I think its the age old male/female thing - daughters love their daddys no matter what. Plus it was right at the time that she was going to start breaking the connections to be completely independent too - so don't take it personally (easier said than done I know!). One day she will start to realise how important you are again - about the time babies start to come along etc :) Keep your chin up :)

@@stampingwithlisa My name is Sherry Butcher. I live in Dyersburg, Tennessee. We had a big snow week before last , and about two inches of sleet that stuck everywhere just this Thursday and Friday. Thankfully we don’t get that very often, and we sure are not used to it. I haven’t driven on ice on over 20 years, and I had not driven on snow in over 15 years, until 2018 when I had to get one of my sisters to a life saving dialysis treatment. Thankfully my husband was on his days off from work when this winter storm hit, (he works different days, similar to a swing shift) but his factory shut down, as did most of the others in our area. We are so thankful and blessed that the sleet didn’t stick to the power lines causing a power outage. It stuck to everything else: the car, the truck, the highway, the trees, the central unit, just about everything. I don’t know how y’all cope with it so much.
I just happened to find your You Tube channel, and I have been watching you for a long time. I love, love, love your cards and how much you teach us, and how easy you make it. Take care, By, by Catch ya on the next one… By the way, Dyersburg is in West Tennessee, about 18miles from beautiful Reelfoot Lake which is a huge natural lake, created by the earthquake of 1812, that caused the Mississippi River to run backwards, thus creating the lake. Reelfoot Lake is famous for its fishing and duck hunting. There was a horrific tornado that hit the Reelfoot
Lake area and many other areas on December 10, 2021. Several were killed and millions of dollars in damages were sustained. Many of the Reelfoot Lake State Park facilities were wiped out. The tornado was a very wide tornado. I am thinking officials said about btwo miles wide. I stayed on the ground for about 2 1/2 hours. I started in Arkansas and Went through part of Arkansas, and then Tennessee, Kentucky, and part of Illinois before it ended. It was an F-4, and everything it touched looked like a war zone when it was over. There are all kinds of You Tube videos about it too. To watch just search December 10, 2021 Tornado. Thankfully our area wasn’t affected, but I did outrun an F-3 in April 2006 on my way home from church, that Sunday night, and thankfully by the grace of God, lived to tell the story. But I did get stranded in my car after I got in my driveway because it was happening at that moment. I came up the highway in front of my house, hadt to turn left onto the road that the entry to,our home is on. By the time I pulled into the driveway, the power. Was out,and I couldn’t get into my garage to get into our house, with out being out there in it. So I had to sit it out in the car, and watch it all happen.,mTres were breaking down and stuff like that, and four people up the road from me got killed tat might That part of the road on the backside of my home was, of course,the hardest hit area. When I finally got out of my car, and went into my home that we had only bought a year earlier, the highway that I had just flew up outrunning the tornado, was FULL of trees and debris. So was my front yard. It was a huge mess, and FEMA did nothing to help us because we were insured. However, I felt very fortunate to be alive after seeing the highway that I driven up less than five minutes earlier full of down trees. It is just by 5e grace of God that that stuff didn’t come down on me as I was passing by. I I have always told people every since that I know God has a purpose for my life, and for letting me be alive, because except for Him those trees could have fallen on me just as easily as the didn’t, pr some of the trees that I watched bend and break and fly everywhere. One big old limb circled around like a huge sharpened pencil and went through the roof of my storage shed, and another one was coming right towards my car I was sitting stranded in. It was about four feet from the car when the wind shifted and dropped that big old limb on the ground instead of the car! Praise God! Well I guess thats “my story” for the day. Take care, and if you ever see the sky looking green, watch out! The big one may be on the way!

She waits til she runs out of everything before telling me and then she has to have it right away. I don’t even go shopping for myself. I almost started crying. Americans feel the same way. I heard they are coming to VA too. I hope it works. It seems that we both have people in power that won't listen to the people. Exactly! I am so fun. It’s their loss. I think the flip flop story was funny too. Lol! Yes, the gasps when I cut the stamps and crumple paper are funny. Some of my customers that come to class just won’t do it. I had another strange thing happen tonight when I got home from work. I’m saving that for tomorrow’s video. It's funny, while watching your video at the beginning I was wondering how you made the background of the blue card...Last week my demonstrator sent us customers a sheet of the dsp "Abstract Beauty" to make a card. We sent photos back and we're able to see all of the other's cards. One of the cards had an amazing tag and when I asked how it was made she said "with the stamp from artistically inked". In front of all the new sets, unfortunately, I often stop thinking about the older ones..
That’s funny. I love that stamp for doing backgrounds. It’s so beautiful in any color. I sometimes forget about the older sets too but I keep that on my table so I don’t forget about it. Forever fern is another great set and very Versailles. I use those words on everything.

Thanks so much! Wow, that's a ton of snow. We would be in big trouble with that much. WE don't have snow plows. Just a few dump trucks with a shovel attachment on the front. A lot of private truck drivers do parking lots and things for a ton of money too. They just attach the shovel thing on the front of their trucks.

I decided to try youtube live the other day and I like it so much better. I had 120 people on with me live so it was a lot more engaging and fun. I think I am going to do it on youtube from now on but I will upload to facebook too.

I'm not sure why it did that in the replay. It was fine on the live but I think it was because I was trying to edit it right after it finished and it was still processing and I messed it up. Sorry about that.
