When you guys started talking about the obatarian still being alive it made me remember that Yuki is older than Kiryu and Maijima and she still looks 30 in the infinite wealth trailer.
Hey Gokudoni, what are your thoughts on a possible Yuta Gaiden game? I have a rough idea of a story outline but nothing specific. You could put him in a situation where some group is threatening Morning Glory for _reasons_ and Yuta has to learn how to deal with situations like this. Essentially, put him in Kiryu’s position that he’d be in from previous games, but the catch is that Yuta is still young and inexperienced, and therefore is unsure how to approach situations like this, leading to him sometimes making mistakes but ultimately learning from them to grow into a stronger person. One of the obvious benefits to this would be seeing Haruka, Haruto, and the rest of the Morning Glory kids again. This could also be a good opportunity to give Yuta the responsibilities Kiryu had in 3, where he’d have to help the kids out or give them advice/support with their issues. I’m kinda spitballing here but I thought it might be an interesting topic to explore.
Honestly, I didn't think much of Yuta in terms of being a candidate for such a narrative treatment, but what you suggested genuinely sounds like a fun concept!
KASHIWAGI GAIDEN 🙏🙏 I mean he’s the perfect candidate, we don’t know shit about him despite him being such an important person in main characters’ lives. And we can even explore Kazama’s past through his eyes too. Imagine just having them in the center of the narrative, in their prime, going up the ranks on their way to becoming Tojo legends
@@vargsieber I’ve heard about an idea of Kazama prequel game many times from other fans, and that’s precisely the reason why I’ve been thinking about this concept a lot, eventually coming to a conclusion that Kashiwagi would be a better protagonist. There are several reasons: 1. Kashiwagi is alive, unlike Kazama. It brings a possibility of making his origin story more relevant to the current timeframe of series’ overarching story (also his VA is alive, again unlike Kazama’s) 2. Kazama is a straight up assassin. Playing as him would be too tonally different from the rest of the series 3. We know about Kazama more. Kashiwagi’s backstory is still a total mystery 4. This one’s purely subjective: I like Kashiwagi’s personality way more than Kazama
@@KusabiTetsugoro you know what, that makes sense. Another idea I have would be a game with 4 or 5 different shorter stories (maybe 3 chapters each) that aren't necessarily connected. Kashiwagi & Kazama in the 60s/70s with a focus on the rise of the Dojima family, Majima in the 90s, Daigos first move on Kansai (it's insane that he was never a playable character), Kaito before he was expelled (since he had a sub story in gaiden I feel that's kinda ok, depending on the future of the judgement series) and as final Daigo, Majima and Saejima between 7 and infinite wealth since the infinite wealth stuff we've seen in the trailer suggests that they are in that Bear hunting village from Yakuza 5, so there must be a reason for that.
@@KusabiTetsugoro thanks, I think the possibilities are almost endless since there are so many great characters in the series, those are just a few ideas.
My biggest wish: Kazuma Kiryu OR Kasuga Ichiban in Smash Bros. Definitely a YUME level request but dammit I wanna be a believer. Otherwise the Kurohyou games getting remade would be appreciated. EDIT: OH and Bandai Namco need to allow Sega to allow this team to make a Gintama game.

After hearing gokudoni say in this video that his profile picture is a demon I had to open the picture full screen to check. All this time I thought it was a man in a tuxedo with an ant head..... maybe I need some new glasses. 😅
I definitely would want more Gaiden games focusing on other characters and another I would want for RGG Studio to do in the future, make more anime license games after Fist of the North Star Lost Paradise, the 1st thing I want from then is Like A Dragon Ninja: Naruto Either the Brawler or Turn base RPG system.
Imagine a Godhome style mega-arena where you can select which playable character you want, AND any major boss from any of the games to fight, individually or after each other in "pantheons".
Regarding which game to start with, I started with 0 and loved it. However, after I completed the series I went back and replayed 0 and there is a lot of extra stuff I picked up on due to playing the rest of the series. Plus, the Kiwami's also add fanservice stuff for players too. It kind of doesnt matter where you start because all the games are good enough on their own but also reward you for having played the rest of the series.
My number one wish: Rerelease Kenzan cuz it’s one of the four games I haven’t played. Also don’t pull a GoW Ragnarok and make the Ichiban saga only 2 games.
I started with Yakuza 0, didn't even finish chapter 1 and was struggling with the combat and stopped. Then 7 came out and I adored it and the characters. It made me want to play through the whole series so I went back to 0 and am now at the end of 6 😁 I love this series so much! ❤
I went through that very same process a couple years ago! I'm replaying Kiwami 1 now and my last safe file was on February 2021, so it's come a long way now for me! Hopefully you will love like a dragon gaiden once you are done with 6, and hopefully you will LOVE Infinite Wealth 😊😊
@MikeTolosa that's great! I love Kiwami 1! About the order, I was actually through, got to about 2 chapters off the ending of Yakuza 5, jumped to Gaiden when it came out and finished it and then finished off 5 and started 6 😁 I was aware of a couple of spoilers obviously regarding Gaiden's beginning and Joon-gi in 6/7 but it didn't put me off 😄 I just know Infinite Wealth will be my game of the year, I'm so excited for it!
@@003SONE That's very cool as well! I think Gaiden is even coller once you experience 6, so I hope you have a really nice time with it once you finish it, even if you do in the opposite order it was meant to! And i gotta agree, both with Loving Kiwami 1 and Infinite Wealth being my favourite game of next year, if not my favourite game ever!! 😁😁
I think this style/genre of game is something that's still underappreciated in the industry as a whole, and is the best possible way to design a map that let's the player explore and enjoy side activities without needing the map to be absolutely massive. My wishlist would be for Sega to take a chance and let RGG work on a game in this style but for another IP, to kinda "show off" what they can do and how fun these games are to an entirely new audience. Here's my hail-mary of an idea. Sega has one of the most recognisable videogame characters in Sonic but dont know how to make good games for him. I think Tails and Knuckles have far more visual appeal and recognition as their own characters than say Luigi and Wario, so how come Luigi and Wario have their own game franchises (that play completely different from mainline Mario games), and Tails + Knuckles dont? I think Sega could very easily use their inhouse talent to make "baby's first RGG game" with Knuckles or Tails as the protagonist, in the same way that Mario+Rabbids is basically "baby's first Xcom".
My wish would be having a rhythm game archive of all the yakuza/LAD karaoke songs (including multiple versions) all in one game. One of my favorite minigames is the karaoke, and the god-tier music is always what I am eager for in any of the RGG games. It would show how far the series has come with how they animate the music videos, the wide range or genres, and the wackiness/heartfelt songs. Even if this game was just karaoke, I think it would be quite popular, especially since SEGA also has featured Hatsune Miku- known for vocaloid songs and has even appeared as references in Y5 (Haruka's outfit) and probably other entries. Maybe even having the multiple translations of the songs (audio and subs) would be very cool as well. SEGA knows who to get to make their music, it'd only be natural to take advantage of it in such a fun way. LIKE A DRAGON: KARAOKE COLLECTION

She got shafted in 5, we didn't get to see her, and since then we haven't even heard her.
