Nice video, holds up 11 years later. If only control boards stayed so simple. I have ONE bad relay and no one wants to just repair it. They all want $300+. Don't begrudge that, just figure it's time for a new stove - seven years, is that all there is?!
Thank you for this video. I just did this same job on my range today 8/11. The relay for the bake option was burnt. I believe it was because the used appliance place i bought it from installed the wrong heating element. I would get a burning plastic smell ever time we used the oven. After replacing the element and relay board Im still getting the smell. Any idea why???
I replaced the element, thermistor and board. The bake element was fine, thermistor also, but the entire parts cost was only $150. So my customer ended up wanting it all replaced, since it was so cheap. And a replacement range of this price range skyrocketed. The board wouldn’t send any power to the bake element. It would only preheat to about 75% of the set temp because the bake element wasn’t being electrified.
Would have been nice if you could have explained what you're doing. Hard trying to see through your hands, arms, and body. This really isn't helpful. Is there any way you could do this and say what you're doing, please?

Oh, and after the board change, all 4 elements tested out at 241-243 volts when activated
Hi where can I order a relay control board? Lots of sites but they don't seem legit.
can you link to the board please?
You should wear gloves when touching the new board as static electricity would fault it making you liable for ruining it
