@@carlitoshoued7400 Hello! no, I did not rinse it. :) rinsing rice removes a lot of the starch from the rice grains. washing away extra starch is great for light and fluffy rice dishes, but for risotto we want all that extra starch. :)
We could make it a rice cassrole with mixed veggies & chicken topped with mozarella We could add bacon, hotdog or pepperoni And it would be great side dish with chicken breast or steak
Is there a particular reason for that? What is the negative impact on the risotto when it's served in a bowl? I'm genuinely interested, I love to learn. Thank you.

Hey Everyone! Matthew here! Have any risotto questions? Send em my way! :)
Did you rinse the rice? It looked dry when you added it.

is the rice supposed to be cooked by boiling before making the risotto like in a fried rice ?
@@MattYellow65 no. start with raw short grain rice. :)
Can you use sushi rice ?
I just made this tonight with lemon juice instead of wine and it was AWESOME! Thank you - Saving this one to my favourites. ❤️🌺
I got all mixed up trying to write a risotto pun for you guys..

I’ve been wanting to try to make this but it seems so scary. But you made it seem so easy to me so I’m more eggar to try now!
I tried this with garlic and shrimp belachan as aromatics and lemon instead of wine. Mushrooms added. Fish bullion cube stock. Yummmmm!❤
I have been served risotto many times and have yet to get one that is cooked correctly. Yours looks perfect.

Thank you 😘
Super helpful video, thabks

I’m going to try this recipe. Wish me luck. What is the temperature of the heat? Did you cook the mushrooms first? Season them?
Chef Gordon Ramsay has entered the chat.

Is mushrooms previously cooked? The recipe looks delicious!
My two 26 year old get home couple of hours too late. What is the best way to reheat? Microwave or stove & what not to do?
I like to add vegetables, what are the best vegetable and should rhe be prepared sparatly.
I would add butter and sweet peas with a lite stock.
Hey Matthew, Question Of The Day, What's Easy Risotto?
Nice
So nice
thank you!
Will this get me through Hell's Kitchen?
LMAOOO ngl i’m here because of hell’s kitchen
👍
I will add mirepoix.
is the rice supposed to be cooked by boiling before making the risotto ?
@2:10-2:12 the rice didn't look like it was cooked when it was added to the pan. The stock is the liquid in which the rice is cooked.
You look familiar. I saw you in Gordon Ramsay's Hell Kitchen ☺
Mike Tython
I was thinking pimento or tomato for valentines. .
I would add chicken
Ingredients anyone?
Hot smoked salmon
Personally i like paella from spain better
ഒരു തരം നെയ്ച്ചോർ 😂
So much work for a simple rice dish that u could speed up with chicken broth
you dont serve risotto in a bowl...

Im curios too, is it not ethical?
@@strivingformindfulness2356 because served in a bowl the rice will still cook, making the grain too soft, it needs to be served in a plate
You can put in a coffee cup. It's still great
