Erin, I absolutely LO❤E all of your layouts ! I am constantly referring my friends to your videos. I'm pretty sure I have began quoting you when I scrap . You have given me so many valuable tips & tricks to incorporate into my scrapping. I've even had my hubby order a versamat & stamps set from you before. There are many talented people on RUclips...there's only one #1 Crafty Concepts with Erin !
Awww such kind words! I am so happy you are picking up helpful tips for your scrapbooking and I appreciate you referring your friends. That is wonderful. I had to laugh at the quoting me part while you scrapbook lol
I don’t usually use rainbow colors but this technique is a great way to use up the scraps left over. What a great idea and inspiration for going outside my comfort zone!
I’ve seen so many strip paper designs over the years and it never gets old! I love how you combined the stamping and sequins. I never use enough sequins! Also a CZ fan so I boop my projects all the time! LOL!
OMG, sooooo beautiful Erin!! Love that UV Cardstock!!! And this type of use of scraps with strips is one of my favorites, especially when my paper slots are overflowing with scraps!!
Without a doubt .... stunning! Absolutely love this idea. You knocked clear outta the park with this one, sweets! Love your layouts! Thank you for the inspiration!!
Oh my gosh, I love this project. My mind is going crazy with ideas. I am thinking to cut the scrap section and turn the sections to make yet another pattern. Thanks for demonstrating the T Ruler and the Sequin applicator. How fun, thank you!
Thank you, I am so glad you are dreaming up ideas from this one. It would be fun to die cut circles or other shapes after gluing the strips together too.
So simple but so elegant & modern for a young girl & her cat. I wish I had remembered about the paper when I placed my March order early in the month, as I would have altered my order to fit these papers into it. Hard living on a budget sometimes!! 😥
@@CraftyConceptswithErin I put my order in today for this next quarter & did put the number in for the uv paper pack but even though it was still the 31st in your country I couldn't fool head office. Still it did come up with the pink special coming up so grabbed some of that along with the new colour packs from the next catalogue so I actually ended up spending more than my budget allowed, now I will have to live frugally over the next couple of months as I have to save for some big bills due mid winter over here. Now the hardest part - waiting the two plus weeks until it arrives. So happy as they hadn't run out of the full bloom card making workshop. 😂
This is beautiful Erin! I must admit that I do not save my scraps because I have too much of everything else. I have started saving left over embellishments since watching you
No not yet, but I mainly store them in the bag with the coordinating collection. I have thick plastic envelopes for my cardstock and I keep all cardstock scraps in the front and full 12x12 in the back of the storage envelopes.
Oh my gosh Erin! You did it again!! I just love your fun layouts. Do you try your layouts before you film them.. or are you completely winging it when you’re filming? Thanks for sharing.
I love your pages and how you do them Do you still buy and use close to my heart products and make videos.Iam asking because you have inspired me to purchase close to my heart products just on the fact that you can teach how to create beauitful layouts that I can follow.close to my heart products are quiet expensive here in Australia.
Hello, I am so happy to hear you are inspired. I use 98% Close to My Heart because I love how everything coordinates together and the quality is so good! I am sorry things are pricey over in Australia, that can be tough.
I love everything about this - the layout & the cards. Question - instead of using tape runner could you just cut an adhesive sheet to fit the entire base area and attach the strips directly to that?
As you started putting down the sequins, I started to boop then you started talking about Kathy...I laughed. I love those acrylic black hearts also. Are they a CTMH item?
Oh that is so funny you associate Kathy with the “boop” too. The Black acrylic Hearts are CTMH. They come in white and wood also. erinjacobson.closetomyheart.com/retail/Product.aspx?ItemID=15731
Hello Liane, you can view the catalog online, I prefer the PDF version because it’s much larger. CTMH will also send you one free with your order! 😀 Just be sure to add it during the check out process. You can see it here erinjacobson.closetomyheart.com/ctmh/products/online-catalog.aspx

"Oh, cool! Look what I made!" 😆 Adorable photo, Erin . The colour does help make it pop with the kitty being so dark. Love it, looks great!
Haha, I felt like a little kid when I watched it afterwards. It’s like “mom, look what I made” 🤣

Hi Carol, you are right, you can use this idea for any coordinating scraps you have in your stash. It is so nice to use up those leftover bits 😃
What a cute way of using up all the leftover scraps from paper packs!!!!! Your layout is super fun!!!!
Thank you! I’m always on the lookout for ways to use scraps.

Oh that is a bummer you forgot to place it on your order. I have done that before and it is so disappointing.

💞💗👏 Do you have a video on how to store your scrap strips?
No not yet, but I mainly store them in the bag with the coordinating collection. I have thick plastic envelopes for my cardstock and I keep all cardstock scraps in the front and full 12x12 in the back of the storage envelopes.

Thanks Tina! No I do not do a practice round. I was scraplifting this one so I had a visual but knew I wanted to add the stamping detail.
@@CraftyConceptswithErin You make it look so easy. I’ve been scrapping for many… many years and I still fumble around with my pages. 😂
