Great job, young man. We built a bunch of these during the Lewis & Clark bicentennial but not with near the style and finish of yours. Good video. I had the chore of burning the pile of canoe guts at our Canoe Camp on the Clearwater River in Idaho in 2004.

God bless you young man!!! It was very inspiring watching you shape that ole cypress log… I truly didn’t believe there were still hard working people of your youth left today. As a total stranger and a boat builder of 30 years I’m proud of you!!! 😊

Awesome job. Too easy to forget that sometimes the old ways of doing things are just simpler and better .
Need to carve yourself some wooden decoys to go with it . Birds out of your own pirogue and rig would mean so much more

I knew Drew personally and was my friend for many years… He was a fine Christian gentleman, skilled outdoorsman and taxidermist, and loyal friend… This video was a great honor to him…

Awesome man! Followed you on Dale's page the whole time. Not too many young men out there these days that would take on a project like this. Congrats and great job!
