Desigual is a Spanish brand, manufacturer of men's, women's, children's clothing, shoes, accessories and perfumes.
The Desigual brand was officially registered in 1984 in Spain. The founder of the company is the Swiss designer Thomas Meyer. In the first years after its founding, the company began to produce youth clothing with bright prints, original embroidery and appliqués.
In 2011, the company partnered with French designer Christian Lacroix to launch the Desigual by Monsieur Lacroix line of capsule collections.
In 2011, Desigual signed an agreement with Cirque du Soleil to create a capsule collection Desigual inspired by Cirque du Soleil spring-summer 2012. The range of the collection was represented by 60 items of clothing and accessories, decorated with patterns in the form of posters, images and details of costumes of circus performers.
Today the company has more than 500 stores and representative offices in almost 100 countries.
