29:09 Your Prime Minister basically just said to the citizens of Trinidad and Tobago that his government has no strategic plan for GDP growth for the following 2 years... AND... if voted back into power he has all of his eggs in a basket owned by Venezuela and even worse a basket that relies on the requirement of Venezuela (and Russia) remaining heavily sanctioned (thus absent from the western gas export market) for at least the next decade? This isn't a matter of incompetence anymore. IMHO Trinidad and Tobago's economy is like a phone with 5% battery remaining with no charger and broken charge port. The country is on the verge of an existential crisis due to the gross negligence of its political leadership regarding revenue diversification and attraction of foreign investment. Shame on them.
And what the opposition leader has? By the way you take his speech way out of context, there are other things in terms of diversification. Are you aware there is Eteck, Tourism and the Manufacturing sector which contributes to the GDP of T&T. Right now there is also youths getting land to produce agricultural goods so please stop misinforming what the PM said. You should be happy as a citizen that under a PNM government the people of Trinidad and Tobago has a higher share holding in ALNG than it ever hard before
If you have money go out and drill and bring oil and/or gas into stream for the benefit of T&T. Are you going to do that?

However I believe that the need for a Caricom agreement, in regard to oil and petrochemicals production. imports should be heavily tariffed by all nations in the Caricom confederation. They should allow T&T to become the primary and preferred supplier of the petroleum products. It would deepen regional integration, and nullifies the issue of Russia or Venezuela having control of the industry, once they inevitably get out of these sanctions. This also simultaneously boosts the economy of Trinidad and Tobago. 🇹🇹 one Caribbean federation is achievable in the next century, but our leaders need to prioritize integration and harmonization.

I ultimately chose to respond in the event that younger more impressionable minds were to read the absurdity you put forward and be mislead. In an effort to be concise I would urge any of our nation's youth who come across these comments, to google the names of the countries that constitute the CARICOM. I would also urge you to google the statistical data regarding Guyana's oil and natural gas reserves. You can form your own intelligent opinions fairly accurately following that brief exercise. Please bear in mind that our economy is primarily driven by revenue derived from the extraction of existing reserves of hydrocarbons sold at markets where rates can be easily affected by the laws of supply and demand. In this regard it is absolutely impossible to "nullify" the economic impact of exits or entrances into these markets by dominant suppliers such as Russia and Venezuela.

That what you heard? What did the PM said about the restructuring of ALNG. Listen to that carefully. The UNC never had any negotiations with respect to ALNG but the shareholding is going to be higher and that will bring in more revenue to the people of T&T
