I ran iRacing's Petit a couple of weekends ago, the extra insight you get from the details in that sim really help you appreciate just how committed and talented these guys are. What a beautiful circuit.
I agree. I ran in the BMW M4 GT3 and knowing exactly what he meant by "getting it right one out of five times" was really satisfying. I was exhausted after a 2 hours stint in a sim, I can only imagine what that does to your body in the real car.
Bill is probably one of the best at explaining racing, always energetic and clear. No wonder why Foley's become so fast under his wing. Love to see Bill join the commentary booth if he ever stops racing

A bad exit is the key to a slow lap time for sure. If you watch a ton of videos, you will see most cars exiting there at roughly the same speed. What matters more is how fast your car is from there to 10a. The driver can control some of that, but there’s no substitute for hp.
this could have been done much better, your cameraman did a horrible job of showing the site line bill was discussing entering 3. Looking forward to more though

Yeah but then he drops those ultra awkward marketing talking points and it instantly becomes cringe.
