11:22 It that the 7230? I have that exact model in HO scale! Unfortunately mine doesn't have the L shaped window but I'm hoping to refit it with one in the future.
You have a very great collection of train catches. Thank you for sharing them onto RUclips. And very nice catch of the MoPac caboose at 8:44. I wonder where it was heading and if it was UP's or privately owned?-Jon
I think one of my other Cajon videos shows a couple of these in a short train. This type of caboose tended to be used in MW and special load(s) moves. When UP took over MoPac they kept MP's reporting marks and numbers (if they didn't conflict). Thanks for the kind comment.
this here is the railfanning I knew in the mid late eighties on my bmx........the horns and older rolling stock.......you really captured history
Excellent quality video! I love UP high speed jointed rail!
The Desert Wind....what memories of riding that train. A girl....Las Vegas... a 22 year old dream come true!!
Lived it! And now I can live it again! Thanks.
Recently discovered your fantastic videos - thanks so much for sharing!
Thank you for your comment. Your firefighter videos are very interesting.
love this stuff,,,real railroading, and great for us prototype modelers !

Love the rail action at Colton Ca
It used to be a good safe place to watch trains. Not so much any more. Thanks for the comment.

By '88 they had removed the connectors (SPSF)?
Was that a FuelFoiler 10pk on that first train shown?
Yep... One of my Cajon videos from that year features a whole train of solid ten-packers at Campground. Thanks for the comment.
Where did you get this footage, did you record it?
I shot it myself on my first video camcorder, a Sony 8mm (CCD-V8).
@@vidwilzvids9587 Sir, you were ahead of your time. They are fantastic. Keep up the good work.
Back when railroads had variety and there were not fat face ge and emds
Fat-Face! That's a good adjective for techno-toasters.
Do you not like the ge safety cabs?
@@NB-br9rv they're very cool but let's be real here, they're far too common
