The tool doesn't fit in there with the gearbox on the truck. You can just remove the 3 mounting bolts and move it a bit if you want to keep it in the truck
The track bar is right below the nut. Guarantee that pulley wouldn't have got mine off that I just did.... Ended up cutting the shaft just below the pitman arm and put it in a 20 ton press and just crushed the threads! I ended up throwing it in the shop oil burner and got it red hot.... Slipped right off! (Pissed me off!)

Why does gearbox have to come off vehicle? I do them with this tool right on vehicle. a good chain style vice grip clamp holds jaws in truck. B
