Can someone please tell me what leaning to one side does?
@ jacob hudson . The principal of leaning to one side of the tractor, or to the other side, usually will help with the counter action - (opposite direction of travel) , thus trying to keep it within the boundary lines of the track , so that the contestant doesn't DQ ( disqualify )
@jacob hudson He is putting more weight over the tire, therefore it gets more traction and turns the mower
Why are the tires on backwards?
Nice tractors too bad most of them power out at the end.
I never have seen any 620 or 720 Allis Chalmers in any of these garden tractor pulls
Sled adjustment is set to make them power out , so it becomes a distance contest , rather than wastimg time with multiple re-runs, I think

What do these tractors weigh around ?
@@jimmoravec1326 Most competitions weigh the driver , and the tractor as one. . The norm is set at 1,050 lbs

I understand now my 720s shipping weight w/o any fluids is around 1,500 lbs 2 wheel drive with factory 15” rims the rear tires were filled with fluid hydrostatic drive with 3 point hitch.
Awesome tractor I’ve drug things around with no problem were my John Deere 318 wouldn’t even budge.

Facebook has several garden tractor groups where . Good source of information and dates of events in PA are posted.
