@@morse2511 sensory overload is certainly a real thing; when I was younger my hearing was too sensitive and my brain didn’t know how to handle it, to the point where I apparently used to holler myself to even out the racket of a noisy restaurant… to this day I struggle to carry on a conversation when I’m in a loud crowd, I have a hard time picking out the other person’s voice from the uproar.

I love how biboo took in the entire situation, realized that kaela was having a panic attack and immediately went into care mode making sure her friend was ok. That's a true friend. Social battery is no joke. My friend once called me cuz his parents, without prior notice, took him to a wedding. In this case prior notice is something like 1 day prior thingy. He needed that time to prepare himself but did not. In the end he called me in between the wedding and I was with him on the call for a couple of hours. I myself am not good with social stuff but I can handle myself pretty well even when my battery is running in the negative.
