The thing about Brahma is you have to be a little bit more mindfull of their environment. Their feet can get hurt easy because of their body weight, walking on sharp things like sticks isnt good, and you should never have a high roost when the jump down it can hurt their feet and legs and if it snows the feathers pick up snow and pack on causing frostbite. I love my brahmas and its worth the extra care

Are these Cochin Brahmas? I had a Cochin Bantam and he had the same fluffy feathers on his feet and legs. He looked just like your roosters but smaller.
There are bantam Brahmas out there. I used to have one, he was a wonderful pet. Looked just like the full size version only 1/4 of the size (if that). Perhaps your rooster is a bantam Brahma?

There are regular size cochin, google it's nice to have a ball Cochin bantam then a regular size cochin also bantam brahma and a regular size brahma, I have observed the difference between Cochin and brahma are their legs also their size brahmas are larger with longer legs. Hehe

Don't get me wrong Brahmas truly are beautiful, gentle giants BUT they'll eat you out of house and home and they are not very intelligent. The Brahma roosters I used to have were way more interested in eating everything in sight than breeding my hens. Their favorite snack was dog poop and goat poop 🤔 I tried to discourage that behavior but they were pretty persistent.

Check the online hatcheries in your area or nearest to you. The hatcheries here have many varieties to choose from. They sent ours from Missouri when they were two days old. You'll need a reabbit cage, grower/starter chick feed, a clip on heat lamp and some natural apple cider vinegar for their water, just a few drops will do to get their immunity built up and take care of any internal parasites. RUclips has a lot of videos to grow chickens from babies and everything you need to know if you are starting out with chickens. I hope you find your new babies that you want!
