Food preservation with chemicals is everywhere...even in the USA. The issue is...natural ripening of fruits mean greater loss to the famers because they will spoil faster. If we have no plans to convert the fruits to finished products or preserve them, the farmers will continue to do this. The fruits will appear ripe, but it is not entirely ripped so it can last a long time on the shelf. We need more storage centers to offtake from farmers, so they can preserve or pass them to manufacturers for processing.
IG of Police saying "they are going to ensure people do not take "laws and orders" into their hands. Isn't it suppose to be that people do not take laws into their hands?why saying laws and orders. This is a brand new IGP making this kind of blunder in broad day light.God abeg o.
Nigeria is not the only African country with a Muslim population, so please they should stop this nonsense of protesting in Nigeria when something happens in another country, if you sit them down and ask about what is happening in Iran you will see how stupid they will sound 😢 this our Northern brothers are doing too much.
Having a State Police will not have the desired effects as long as our political elite does not address the issue of corruption in Nigeria. Most of the time Nigerians ride on the wave of emotions in their approach to issues concerning national structures and often resort to quick fix instead of an long term enduring measures. I just hope that we will not come back to regret the consequences of having state police in the hands of our unruly politicians.
I ate two beautifully ripened agbalumo few days ago. some hours latter, i began having mild itching all over my body. it stopped after about half day after. i suspect this is due to the agbalumo which was unusually red-rippened.
As concerns the Nigeria Police, I would not lose my sleep over the loss of their jobs when state police is established. They have done a terrible job since their inception. The Nigeria Police is the root of corruption in this country. In sane and serious countries, the Nigerian Police would have been disbanded by now.
