Flesh & Blood was hands down my favorite Roxy Music album. Was too young for their early 70's stuff with Brian Eno. Loved the flow of their music and songs in the late 70's and 80's they had such an elegance
That bass line is the most addictive earworm ever. I introduced my daughter to this track, she's 21 now and every time she hears it she says " that is going to be stuck in my head for weeks now". 😂

That sax encore in "over you" is timeless and exquisite, only Roxy Music could have incorporated the saxophone with such elegance and purpose. All three songs on this clip have charisma, ... a fantastic upload !

Me too!! Qué grupo más fantástico. Los vi en Campello en 2005, y seguían tan elegantes y su música imperecedera. Los 80's fueron estupendos musicalmente y para mí especiales, todo por estrenar. La familia completa, con poco éramos felices... Ahora es cuando entiendo lo cruel que puede ser la vida. Como dice esta canción de "Same old scene" : NOTHING LAST FOREVER. 😭
Possibly the last appearance of Paul Thompson with Roxy Music for over 20 years (if the date's correct). I saw them in January or February of 1981, and Michael Dawe was playing drums.
Solid songs. Great band in all its incarnations. Tough duty, I imagine, obeying square and cluekess variety show directors' prompts. Fun to see, anyway!
