- I ride my e-scooter from Astoria, Queens to Chinatown, Manhattan via Crescent Street, Queensboro Bridge, 2nd Avenue, and Chrystie Street. I was impressed at how efficiently I was able to get there, and the entire trip took just over 30 minutes.

Market at Chinatown has great prices. I don’t know how they do it but it is good to have a market in Manhattan that does that. Every other neighborhood and supermarket sell stuff at such a inflated price
Yes, I love the Chinatown marketplace, and; I don't care what I can afford, it's great for someone who's frugal like me. I always search for deals throughout NYC. Hahaha!

I'm thinking of getting one myself and from what I'm learning so far "check them out all first"... what I found was "espin" being the absolute best so far, for me the Flow model I am deciding right now. :)

The walking across the street reminds me of when I 1st moved from back here to Lincoln, NE in New years of 71. I was downtown and crossed a street. A cop stopped and started yelling about crossing streets and said if I continued to do that I'd end up getting killed. I looked at him and said if I can cross streets in NYC without getting dead then I surely can do it here.

I am enjoying the e-scooter videos. It adds a new dimension - and I really enjoyed the timelapse one on Extra. Could I suggest you do a video for extra that shows how you equip for doing a video with the scooter and gets some long shots of you riding it? Have you thought about pursuing e-scooter manufacturers as sponsors?

Nice shopping trip! 😎. I see a lot of that journey was on the left side of the road, so now you know what it's like to ride on UK roads 😁. The UK is one of the last countries in Europe where the use of e-scooters on roads is ILLEGAL, and they are banned anywhere except on private land 🙄. Even e-bikes like mine have a maximum powered speed of only 15.5 mph (as restricted by law 🤨).

I used to ride my bike in the city, Bronx along Boston rd. or bruckner Blvd. into Manhattan down 2nd. Ave before there were any designated bike lanes, just rode in the street, the Wild West, at times. I wouldn’t do this now with the caliber of driver’s today. I liked crossing the river on the east river bridges , Triboro had a bike path on the south side of the bridge, till they built a new exit ramp to Randall’s island, I got a better view of the city when crossing over.

I do electric bike,electric skateboard and walking but havent tried those scooters,are they comfortable ?
Up until xmas i was walking from Manhattan to Astoria,i live in Astoria right around the corner from Mt.Sinai on 29th street.
Im in my florida house now ill be back sometime around spring/summer you came right in front of my building showing the xmas lights a few days before xmas,ill be looking for you when i get back,take care and its fun to watch while im here,im 60 yrs old i dont enjoy the cold anymore and i cant workout in the deep freeze.Ive trained all my life,i like what Astoria Park has recently done to the running track and the little work out area they put in,seems to have worked out well. Be Safe.
