That’s crazy how he opens the rattle snake lid and turns away to grab something. Not knowing if that snake would lung out he would have got him! May he always be protected
How incredibly brave to surround yourself with venomous snakes. I've had a snake phobia since I was a kid and I hope it gets less bad when I watch videos with snakes.
I still do and I can’t stand them, there is nothing good about them. Kill and eat that’s all they’re good for. I just seen a guy save a baby rattlesnake from glue paper. Imagine if a little girl seen that first and went to pick it up?
Smart camera man I was thinking the same thing when he said look at that lol, and the camera man wouldn't move forward, until he seen the snake going on the glass door.
Crotalus horridus, Canebreak/Timber Rattlesnake. They are all around my property ( mating season). They are such beautiful snakes. I move them if I find them in the road. I live behind a state park and have enough knowledge to respect wildlife and also, move gently to keep safe if needed. I carry snake hooks in my car, and retractable ones in my purse.
Awesome video, Jay! I have become a serious fan and have all the respect in the world for you handling these magnificent and beautiful creatures. They have always been seriously misunderstood and far too many have been killed unnecessarily. Thank you sir for what you do!
I'm glad that I can share my experiences and passion for snakes with you. Through my videos and content, I aim to provide educational and entertaining insights into these incredible creatures. 😍😍😍😍
These are interesting but they make me nervous! Just be careful Jay, I know your careful but I'd hate to see you get bit. Good job that last one really had me worried but you did a great job!
We all’ve seen the pythons and other small snakes Notice how venomous snaked move & posture them selves different than the peaceful ones 😀😀😀❤️you can just tell
Jay I think it is amazing that the baby's snakes know to strikes out at you. Also the tool you used to get control of the snakes it seems like it would hurt the larger snakes Thanks!
I find snakes fascinating creatures, but I would never keep one as a pet, especially a venomous pit viper. Even the most seasoned herpetologists have been known to have fatal accidents. In less than the blink of an eye. Another thing is having deadly snakes at head height like that, just doesn’t jive right. Anyways, it’s good that there are people who operate serpenterium where they can make life-saving antivenin. It’s a noble cause, but I wouldn’t want their job. That takes courage, like walking into a mine-field. The kind I don’t have.
Beautiful Timber rattlesnake!!! Watching this video tells me one thing, this guy is going to get tagged before too much longer. Takes way too many chances when there is absolutely no need to.
That Timber rattlesnake sure is a beauty, no doubt about it. It's important to remember that handling venomous snakes comes with inherent risks, and caution should always be exercised. Thanks for sharing your observation. 🤩🤩🤩😄😄
Rattlers are so grumpy! Did you know that very close to where I live, the rattlesnakes have stopped rattling their warning. There's an annual rattlesnake round up festival where there are snake races, chicken fried rattler is served and just a big carnival. So, every year lots of people are out catching rattlesnakes for the round-up and the snakes are becoming aware that they're being hunted by humans, so they quit rattling and started hiding in this part of South Texas. I don't blame them, do you?
4:59 I especially appreciate the careful handling, I've seen a couple 'snake handlers' with cobras get a strike right through the bag held, against their body. I had a summer business rescuing Rattle Snakes from businesses and dwellings.
@@JayPrehistoricPetsTV People don't understand we don't own this planet, we just share it. I got into it after I saw a Rattle snake in a shipping yard I just started to manage. I called up the office and asked if there was a service to come get it. The welder and two of the big brave truckers came out with long pipes and killed it. We moved oil rigs, and supplied the casing, Rattle Snakes crawled inside casings that sat around until we fetched them back. Anyway thanks to Steve Irwin I made a couple of snake hooks, next one I caught a 4 foot, give or take, I walked into the shop holding it and asked for someone to get a bag. Not one of the hero's that killed the first one would come within 10 feet of me. I was tempted to drop it and close the door. Finally I told my yard hand to open the back of my truck canopy, and I let it go in the back. Took a few nervous minutes to catch it later, it nestled in a tight ball in the far corner. Long story longer, I punched holes in an old plastic five gallon paint can, ran an add and went into business. 😁😁
OMG RETURN TO SENDER! He’s holding that cobra and I couldn’t hold my legs still!! The cage is up too hi, he had a hard time trying to raise the snake that hi safely, very good job buddy please stay safe, that rattle snake was angry
They do have bags like that. I watch the Aussie snake wranglers and they have these blue bags that they put the snakes in and they can't bite through. They they bring them to safe area
Thank you for sharing this information, and for highlighting the responsible and safe practices employed by these snake wranglers. Keep up the great work, and stay safe in your own endeavors as well! 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
The guys still scared of what he’s holding. Only reason why I say that I’ve seen way more people or even content creators handle the same snake plus alot more dangerous. Don’t get me wrong when I say this but just the way he kinda freaked about the last snake makes me think he’s more scared than he puts off but his movements showed it. His movements plus the what he just handle the snake kinda dropping it made the snake more aggressive. He was fine until all that happened.
Since you only think canebrake rattlesnakes have it which is a timber rattlesnake they have the same stripe right down the back here in Kentucky, there all classified as timber rattlesnakes
Jay, when you put the first rattlesnake in the cage, you referred to a line down it’s back, as a Frank Kane Line ( I think that is what you called it), just wondering! I enjoy every single one of your videos! Thanks, Frank Kane ! 🤔🤔🤔
That is a pretty snake, beautiful but deadly. I'll handle non-venemous snakes all day long, but no way I'm picking up a venomous snake. If I didn't breed dachshunds I'd keep a small ball python. The retics are too big for me, they'd eat my dogs!
i dont understand why some people think snakes are disgusting. like when i was 6 i held a python and said i wanted to keep it because it licked my finger😭
I've only watched a few of Jay's videos where he collects retic eggs and usually takes a bite so when I saw this I thought "omg who gave this guy a venomous license" but I am pleasantly surprised that he is very responsible handling these snakes. I like that he doesn't free handle them like some RUclipsrs. I did cringe at 1:20 when he had his knee an inch from the bag of snakes. Yikes. Beautiful snakes tho. Congrats
Thanks for watching my videos and sharing your thoughts. I appreciate your feedback and I'm glad to hear that you find me responsible in handling these snakes. I understand your concern about the proximity of my knee to the bag of snakes. It's important to note that these videos are often edited for entertainment purposes, and certain camera angles may create the illusion of closer proximity. 😁😊😊😊😊😊

That cobra looks the way very expensive, high quality, merchandise does it just exudes this almost understated perfection ❤
Cameraman like helll nawww don't get to close 😂😂😂
Slow backward. lol
Smart camera man I was thinking the same thing when he said look at that lol, and the camera man wouldn't move forward, until he seen the snake going on the glass door.
I like the fact he is very careful in handling venomous snakes. Other handlers makes me nervous

Wow Jay those are really beautiful but I’m scared of those snakes lol. I’m so glad I can live the dream with those snakes through you lol.❤
Same here. I am so afraid of snakes. Jay makes it so interesting to watch his videos but don't ask me to hold one 😂

That last rattle snake was quite spicey for sure.
yes soo adorable. 🤩🤩
Love your personality it's infectious!
Great! thank you. 😁😁😁😁
They would all be more beautiful in their own habitat.
These are captive bred
After watching this shows how much I miss Steave Irwin !!!

We have lots of Timber rattlers (canebreak) here in southern Oklahoma.
You call them Canebrakes, we call them Timbers...
" Cane Break" is a slang term for that snake. The correct name for this snake is a Timber Rattlesnake.
