Very interesting! If it works, it would revolutionize the in-home laser engraving setups for so many! Will be interesting to see how it performs in real-world setups.

So, I need some clarity on this -- with the purifier does it still need to get vented outside? I am confused. The space I have in mind for it does not have any available windows with venting access.

Hi I need some help if possible
I have recently bought the m1 XTool (only the 5w) however really struggling with the smell, it is vented outside however fine that the holes the base plate and bottom seem to just create a gap for fumes to escape! It’s a really bad smell when cutting wood 3mm
Could I please ask the best solution? I have just bought an air assist to try and reduce the wood burning,
Question is would the risers be good which come with the honeycomb and block cover?
I keep looking at the air purifier but it’s £600 and not 100% sure if this is too epensive (when considering filters are £150)
Please help as I’m close to selling the machine / returning

Hello, thank you for the video. I’ve been working with this unit for a few hours and still noticed the smell of smoke in my room. I noticed that the lid does not seal well and that the is air being blown at the corners. Can I and , if so, turn off the fan on my S1, so that it’s just the purifier sucking in the air? Thanks for the help.

Myself i am debating on getting this purifier for my S1 as the one i wanted to get is almost 2K (it seems better however). I would think a inline fan would be better to suck out fumes, i may do so on my S1.

Is the fume extractor suppose to face the laser cutter? As in it needs to be on the same level with the cutter?

I'm confused...the manual shows that a hose also needs to be added to the output. You show a hose like that too, going out the window, although the hose isn't in the rest of the video. Is it necessary to add a hose to the smoke purifier output to a window? That defeats the purpose of having the purifier to eliminate the need to vent outside.

If you vent outside, you don’t wanna put all those chemicals into your neighbors and then they come right back into your house
Filtering first is definitely a plus

@@xToollaser Wow. That's terrible performance then. We've only cut about 6 ornaments and the pre-filter is plugged.
