    I have been working towards a build like this for a month or so now, just about to unlock lyric I have 5 links unlocked right now. I think im going to go 120 music/disco/provo till i can get more links and lyric lvled up some before add the peace and archery. Do you use any scripts or macros you could share to help me along?

    Hi sir. Do you understand that the EBS are essential for this build to work? I have only 5 links your bronze follower damage. Full tamer dex here, but thinking on my first echo

      You need EBS or Lyric Aspect, if you get 10 EBS you can play it with command, if you get 10 Lyric Aspect, you can go with no EBS links. But I really don't reccomand to do it on shadowspire, Ossuary or Mount Petrum are very good for this build if you don't have EBS or you have low Lyric.

      Thanks for the answer. I'm planing on going lyric due to the cost lol. Now I do have Water 11 and Fortune 10. I'm planing on Echoing and going your build with lyric.(But I don't have any EBS links).

      Is this build good for bosses/guild farming as well? (Compared to a full tamer/dex). Thanks again and sorry to bother.

      @@TiagoDrubi Bards will never have top DPS on bosses, if your guild needs high DPS on boss better go with a herding template but this tamer/bard template is the best for buffing people, crowd controlling and doing aoe damage in the additional phases. If your guild have scheduled bosses you can agree for how many bards you have and you need, you want atleast 1 tri-bard or 2 different bards (provo and peacemaking) in order to have all the buff. I play in a very competitive guild and most of my guild mates do very high DPS with top tier builds, my contribute is always very appreciated because this is a tri-bard build and I can do all the 3 buffs and crazy additional damage and crowd control, making the runs easier. For party farming I think it's one if not the best build that you can get since you buff people, you tank with your pets and you do crowd control. For T8 I go with the pure tamer echo (T12 command, full follower damage and follower attack speed links) and for Omni bosses I go with a disco sword dexxer which is the top DPS template for omnis.

    What do you think about azure wryms with a bard tamer?

    • @RoccoSiffrediPlaysUltimaOnline
      @RoccoSiffrediPlaysUltimaOnline  10 месяцев назад

      From my experience they don't perform good, the ability is jucy for the bard damage buff but the damage wasn't that good. But I'll try it again.

    can u help me with a pet combo for mage tamer?

    • @tictax21
      @tictax21 8 месяцев назад

      I like any 3/2 pet combos so like cave gorger and devourer beetle or black widow for example but I'm sure other people can recommend other options.
      This way I feel I don't have to heal so much also an arctic bullvore is a good one with either a hellhound or ankheg, actually I wonder if a drowned dragon would do well with an ankheg...

    im not sure how you get 20% accuracy and 20% dmg from provo and peace... but for sure you are losing a lot of damage.
    You have +38% dmg and +20% accuracy.
    like u showed, 120 herding with top crook already gives +60% dmg
    also you get 25% pet dmg resist (which you can argue u dont need if u are peace/provo targets)
    but u are a fencer tamer, u also get fencing specials 24% accuracy, disarm +25% dmg.
    So with bard
    u have total of
    20% accuracy
    38% dmg
    with dexxer
    +24% accuracy
    +85% dmg
    +25%pet resist.
    So u have close to 50% difference in dmg boosts.

      I would like to clarify that I'm not trying to convince people to drop their command templates, if you like it, play it, good for you, nothing chances for me.
      The template and the gameplay of this video is something different, it is a way for bards to adapt to the tamer meta, the results are from my point of view very good, if you don't think they are good, I would like to call on you testing your glassy tamer template in SSC in a 30k gold run with the DAMAGE TACKER ON, you will be surprise.
      But let's talk about your points:
      If you want to compare the 25% resist from command with the 40% damage resistance buff from discordance, the -18% damage from monsters from discordance de-buff and the enormous damage mitigation from the crown control, I think you didn't see the video or you never played a bard. There many parts where I take aggro from 4/5 mobs without taking any damage and I'm pretty sure that a glass cannon fencer tamer might struggle with some of those monsters, attacking them 1 by 1. If you are a new player I really suggest you getting some information about barding buffs on the Outlands wiki.
      Regarding the damage, you are talking about a theoretic scenarios for a fencer tamer where:
      - you immediately apply cripple on the target: most of the time you kill your target before applying a stack since with 80 arms lore you only have 18% special attack chance and with 80 fencing you don't have 100% accuracy.
      - you have the opportunity to always attack your target: monsters with aoe damage make really difficult for a glass cannon template stay melee 100% of the time.
      - you always have the disarm cooldown ready: 30s cooldown is a lot, most of the time you kill monsters under 15s, that means that disarm is not always applied.
      At the same time you are ignoring some big factors of this bard-tamer template:
      - provocation itself makes a lot of damage.
      - the crown control of this template might fight you multiple mobs at the time: your template is great in single target but is it great enough to beat a multiple target DPS template?
      - going glassy: you play a very glass cannon template, you take big damage from mobs, you always have to play with high concentration because if you die you do 0 DPS and nothing is worst then a 0 DPS template. Some people like me prefer to play with high defense, having a 40% damage reduction buff from discordance makes my farming chill and relaxed, allowing me to farm 4/5 hours no stop without any headache.
      - I play in a competitive guild, we kill natural bosses all day, tri-bards are the most powerful buffers in this game, having a tri-bard make all boss runs easier, faster, better.
      That said, I'm not trying to convince you that this bard-tamer template has a better single target DPS of a fencer tamer because it doesn't, but once again I would like to call on you testing you build in real farming scenario because when we play UO we kill monsters with abilities, we are not testing the damage on trainer dummy.

      @@RoccoSiffrediPlaysUltimaOnlineI am not saying bards are not good. Bards are important in raids everyone knows that. I am simply pointing out the fact that your 40s-1min where you say you do not lose DPS from skills and only from links, is wrong. Even without links, the calculation is already over 50% difference in DPS.
      If you play tamer long enough, you will also realize that fencing/accuracy isn't really all that important. When you do realize that, you can swap to an xbow like what u are using, and with arcane codex u have high accuracy and decent dmg, and u can still disarm and hinder. So u don't have to worry about melee range. And if you position yourself well, you don't have to worry about taking dmg as well since u can be 3 spaces away from the mob (2 spaces from pet).
      I have also done test servers and archer tamer works best for me based on my experience. Even at maus4.
      I have tried mage tamer, fencer tamer, archer tamer, mage tamer and bard tamer. Ultimately I prefer archer, but still UO is a game where any build can work.
      Like I said again, I am not saying your bard tamer cannot work. In saying you are incorrect at 40-1min when you say that you do not lose dmg from skills.

      Quoting myself:
      "The lack of HERDING skill and COMMAND aspect might seem a big loss in term of damage..."
      I'm still trying to understand what is incorrect in this sentence since I wasn't talking about disarm or arms lore. You are assuming that all command and herding templates use arms lore but it's not (many top farmers are still playing mage).

    • @Singsongpingpong
      @Singsongpingpong 10 месяцев назад

      @@RoccoSiffrediPlaysUltimaOnline well if u really mean that u don't lose dmg when u compare herding (120 skill points) with barding (240 skill points) then... yeah.
      I didn't bring mage into the picture because mage gives 5% attack speed 5% dmg, protect, and for the most part... spell utility. Invis, recall, gate, rope teleport... all that.
