Unless you got it very hot while you were restoring it you shouldn't have had to reharden the edge!!! It looks great and you did a wonderful job restoring it as well!!!! Didn't care for the handle and think you should have made a new set of scales for it I enjoyed your video so I gave it a Thumbs Up New subscriber
Having watched a bunch of channels where people do woodworking I’d say epoxy resin is the best thing for fixing wood especially surrounding pieces completely in epoxy and then resending and reshaping back
Was just going to say the same thing maybe surround both pieces in epoxy individually sand down the epoxy parts in the shape of the handle pieces and bam fixed honestly some pigment might help it look cooler too
