  • Oke-Aro Pig Farm prides itself as the largest pig farm in West Africa, with about 3,000 farmers managing over 240,000 pigs, and an annual pork production of over 576,000 tonnes.
    Different cooperatives have come together to form a community on the farm estate sitting on a 33 hectares of land.
    In 2020, swine fever struck at the farm, killing most of their livestock. The farmers are gradually recovering from losses suffered due to the disease while they keep their business afloat. The farmers say the business is a lucrative one and
