Cool commercial. I liked how they set it having Anya stare at the Eiffel Tower, since the climax of the show is set in Paris and when she remembers who she is, while the Russian palace is set behind her has a dual meaning as that was Anya's past life as well as being the life she doesn't recall.
Honestly best show I've ever seen, she is so connected to her character as if she was her, herself. I love everyone ink the musical and wouldn't want anything to change

Daniela Velez well it's not exactly based on the film, it's more so losely based on the film and mix with the story of Anastasia. Sorry that you hated the show because of that...
miss purple durple .It was just very dissapointing that rasputin (one of my favorite characters) was not in. they used the logo and songs from the animated movie to promote it which made me think that it was for the movie fans. they even gave us a survey at the end of the show where they clearly knew that many people went because of the animated movie but did not care changing everything anyway, and this "Anya" did a really poor job acting as anastasia, while dimitry(Derek Klena) was absolutely amazing and was the dimitry I loved as a kid. I just could not see her as anastasia and the blonde hair just made it worse
They gave a survey? Okay, I seen a lot of broadway shows and that is definitely a first for me...I feel the same way to you when I first heard about this Anastasia becoming a musical and was anticipating it was going to be like the movie, but since I seen these shows, everything is different from one thing to another. I personally thought I was going to hate this show and never see it. That was until I dived into getting more of the show and what's it going to be like, _and also because of the cast list and I love Christy Altomore to death_ ...Anyways, I believe that this show is going to be one of those shows that the majority, the people who adore the movie, are going to hate and tell people not to go see it. Of course this it's the matter of opinion from one to another. If you were going to ask me if I were going to see this show, I probably will since I personally love Christy and her voice, and this might be the only chance i can see her in person and hear her voice live.
