I agree with Angie, YOU are exactly what our world needs more of, EXACTLY! My perception of you is that you are a kind, gracious, generous person. I'm sure it goes without saying, but I will anyway. You're incredibly and extraordinarily talented. I'm extremely grateful for your presence in this community of one. Without a doubt, your band of followers feel the same. When I feel as though my creativity has dried up, I rewatch a few of your videos. You're an authentic, bright light, helping me to refill. Thank you for sharing your time and talents. Peace and Blessings. S. Brannon

I love what you and Angie create! I haven't been on the internet or making many things because for several years now, my cataracts were awful. No sight in one eye but blurs with not distinct edges. Stronger prescription glasses were no longer going to help my other eye. I was at the end of my own eyes life. Thankfully, I just had cataract surgery and couldn't wait to look at videos again. My first goal was to find the latest videos of Angies work. It is so much more beautiful now that I can clearly see!! I have even been crafting again in the past week. It is amazing to be able to create again and be inspired by you and other crafters. It is really emotional to see all that I have missed for so long. Thank you and all the creators who share their talent. Thank you, thank you, thank you. You all have been gifted wonderful talents and the blessed ability to share!

Great job, Heather. I’m going to get some of your blue paper. I saw the Easter video and Angie is really amazing.
I wanted to tell you about a journal I’m making for my sister. She is turning 75 and I am 72. When we were little (3 and 5) she would get my 2 cents allowance off of me by offering to sing “Beautiful Dreamer” for a penny. Then, having taken half of my allowance, she’d sing it again for the other penny. So, while thinking of what to include in her journal, I thought it would be awesome to include “Beautiful Dreamer”. Several days went by and I decided to go on Etsy to see if anything grabbed my attention. I thought, “I’ll see if Heather has anything new in her shop. I love everything she does.” Sure enough, without anything in mind I saw Antique Music Covers… including “Beautiful Dreamer!” Thank you so much!
    ❤️ Shirley

I think they all came out looking aged and not just inked!! Went to your Etsy shop and ordered 11 digit kits…can’t wait to get them printed, aged, and in a journal!! Thank you again Heather!! And thank you Angie for sharing your creativity, expertise, and passion with us through Heather!! ❤❤

Oh my goodness I have some of these french letters and had no idea why they had the addresses on the back of the letter. I thought all these years I was missing the envelope!!!!! My life revolves around all things France!!! I won't go on. Time for notes. God bless Angie ! What a real blessing to you and our community.

Loved this, wow!!! The process looks so much fun. I have a lot of old documents and I must say these are all really good. I kind of lost it however when you made it to the photos; we lost all of our old family pictures in a house fire back in 2008 and it still makes me cry. You are so blessed to have found Angie I think she is a real treasure.

Yes that happened to my husband too. I always keep originals and have fun with copies. Even if it's a photo of a stranger. I keep them as I'd want a stranger to keep a photo of my ancestors. Something we crafters wrestle with (and hotly debate at times😂)...

Great idea Heather! Hope this tutorial will be a series of Crafting with Angie videos 😉 You did an amazing job! Love how you used the floral wallpaper to be the cover of your faux deed. I'm going to try the envelope, what a great way to not really need an envelope and turn your letter into one. The past is full of fantastic ideas. I love that Angie recreates beauty from times gone by. She's always inspiring! I was so surprised to see your first Snail Mail From Angie video because I've been watching Denise's channel for sometime now and binge watching the mail she gets from Angie whenever I'm on YT. I know I've had your video playing on repeat since it came out, ha! This one will be another favorite. Hi Heather. Great video. Thank you for showing this. I wanted to share a little trick I use from time to time too that maybe you’ll want to try. You know how papers in a pile get moved about and because they were in a pile or under pressure you get little ridges which are so slight? You can mimic this look with your iron or a flat iron by very gently misting the paper and scrunching them ever so slightly and then ironing them just In that spot. It just adds a little different look. Have fun! 🙂🌼✨

I love this video. Thanking for sharing the process of aging paper. I'm new to journal making and I love these in depth tips from all of you in the junk journal world. Thank you so much for showing Angie's technique. I was with you, I couldn't tell what was new and what was old. I went back and watched the happy mail video you did with the materials Angie sent you. WOW! You can see and feel the thoughtfulness she shared with every piece of material she included for you. I am sad that Angie does not have a shop but I understand perfectly about keeping your privacy and perhaps even shyness. I have never made even a comment on RUclips but she inspired me so much with the items she created. Angie, please continue to send happy mail to all of our junk journal makers so that we can enjoy your creativity and love that you put into every piece. Bless all of you.

I LOVE this so much!!! Angie, you are a wonder worker with paper, and Heather, you emulated it pretty much to a T!!!! It looks like the NIMES envelope might have had some water on it to give it that more wavy crinkled look?? Just an amateur observation! I am so grateful to have this tutorial to refer back to now, AND that Scribble paper tip is a game changer, I had some in my stash and printed out a few of the envelopes from your gorgeous kit and it indeed looks like old paper!!! Dollar Tree for the win, LOL!!! 😅🥰🤗 Looking forward to learning more from your channel and your inspiration!! xo

I very much enjoyed your video, and it's the first time I've seen one of your videos, so you have a new subscriber!
Years ago, I took several bookbinding classes, and the instructor had each of us get an actual bone bone-folder. He then drilled a hole in one end, and gave us each a strip of leather to lace through the hole, and then told us to wear our bone folders around our necks, under our shirts (I just nestled mine between the ladies in front since I had a natural spot for it).As time went on, we each found that we wore down the bones in different ways that suited the way we gripped and the hand we used to fold the papers. Our bones slowly absorbed some of the oils from our skin, and we all ended up seasoning our bones this way, and it made for a very smooth use. Anyway, all that is to say that when I pick up a plastic bone folder now, it feels like a foreign object, my hand doesn't like it. I will often set it aside without thought and not pay attention, When I use my real bone folder, It feels so natural, and my hand really likes it, so I'm always aware of wear it is, even when not wearing it. I recommend that you try a different folder, find one that actually feels good in your hand, you may find that you naturally reach for it and don't lose it.

Hi Heather! I think you did great! You really showed us how too step by step. Thank you! Just a hint for inking, put the ink on your fingers. Your thumb and index finger with the ink sponge. Rub them together and rub, use your index finger on those folded corners. Practice on scrap paper first to see how much ink you would want for aging. It works and looks better then the ink sponge. You'll have more control of how much ink is enough. I'll be purchasing a couple of your kits when I'm able. I went to JoAnne's today :-) I'm really liking your channel, I'm a newbie.

First a big thanks for sharing all of this great ideas 👍 🙏 ❤️
I also made my own vintage tape. I use caramel and latte alcohol ink from Tim Holtz. I put a strip of tape on a plastic pocket or something else and just let them be til the time comes when I will use them.
In my country we have some packaging paper for moving etc very thin grayish paper and I can get 1000 of big big pieces for almost nothing. I cut them for sizes and feed one piece at a time in my printer. And I gets almost the real stuff it looks very good.
I think I sew a old video from Tracie Fox on how decorate and print so it looks old and vintage.
Thanks again for sharing and I will absolutely try some of the things I haven’t tried yet..

Nice job H & A! I missed your bday Heather...happy belated! I've been struggling with depression & stress. Still in the hotel and need to pivot my career. I am going to try to make a journal. There won't be any distressing though... this is a lot of effort 😆. I'll just stick to using mostly antique or vintage originals. Ok. Time to go figure out life.

Thanks for this video. I want to download your printables soon. I might try using pressure running from one side to the other to get some of her wrinkles, maybe after a spritz of water.

@@rubyandpearlxo I make my own but I think the spackling paste would be easier, last longer, and might feel softer♥️

Such a sweet video of ideas! I like to run the blade of open scissors along the edge of part of my paper edges which wears the papers nice ( since I don’t have fingernails long enough! Lol ) lots of great ideas!!
