I love how the video ends with gentle tears flowing down a listener’s face. After reading the comments, looks like that’s ALL of us too. Love you, Janet! Your Holy Spirit anointed singing has blessed and uplifted my heart for over 30 years now! Heaven awaits us!! See you there!! ✝️✝️✝️-💜
Janet is such an extraordinary Lady. What a precious and genuine gift from God. My dear Mother passed 25 years ago this year. The pain never goes away. This song reminds me of the hope of a glorious reunion when the good Lord calls me Home. Thank you so very much Janet. I Love you Mom. 🙏❤️🙏
Janet is totally mesmerizing when she sings. When you have the icons of gospel music like George Younce, J.D. Summner, Jake Hess sitting there with their mouths open as she sings, you know you are watching something special.
Have watched so many of Janet Paschal videos. She captivates the audience and her colleagues. No one is talking unless they are in prayer. That has to be God’s anointing on her. So thank you God for Janet Paschal and her ministry!
One year after my 34 yr old son died of a Glioblastoma Multifourme of the brain MS. Paschal sang this song. We buried him around Easter I will forever be grateful for the ministry through songs and thank you Bill and Gloria Gaither for keeping Southern Gospel Music ALIVE
Summer's almost over How time slips away Seasons aren't the same without you here And i know you're up in heaven But i miss you anyway And i guess i'm doing fine I've learned to take it day by day But i can't help but wonder ever since you went away How are things at home? Is it all your heart dreamed it would be And more than simple faith that you believe Is it bright and fair And does the sound of children fill the air No one there is hurting or alone Oh how much i wonder, wonder how are things at home They say the mercy river flows beyond the shining sea It's fashioned by the very hand of god And they say that death can never live inside the city walls Sorrow is a stranger and no teardrop ever falls But more and more my heart can't wait to come to where you are How are things at home Is it all your heart dreamed it would be And more than simple faith that you believe Is it bright and fair And does the sound of children fill the air No one there is hurting or alone Oh how much i wonder, wonder how are things at home Oh how much i wonder, wonder how are things at home How are things at home?
The first song I heard he sing was "Ain't no grave gonna hold my body down" I was hooked. She's only became more and more anointed with each song I've heard . I love you Janet and may God keep touching you and blessing others through your singing .🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
This beautiful lady has an incredible walk with the lord.she's seen some stuff but her savior has never forsaken her. Just ask her, she'll tell you in a heart beat
a wonderful song!!!!!! the main thing that helped me through my mother passing was knowing she is in heaven! people's condolences meant alot but it is knowing that i will see her again is the most comforting thought!
I just lost my mom a month ago and goodness how much this rings true. If I could just speak to her and ask what heaven is like that would be amazing. I want to go home!
God bless lost mine in 2004 and lost my dad before that and two brothers after ward I can tell you that it will get better. I know that it doesn't feel that way right now. please know that for the rest of your life you will have things you Smell, taste, hear, touch and see remind you of her it is normal so don't worry when you cry take care
This must be an old song, seeing the folks in the background have passed away, but it is the first time I have heard it. Wow! It is wonderful! I am 82 and God has still let me sing for his people. This will certainly be one for the near future. Thanks to you I have some beautiful songs to sing...>
Who are the rude people who are laying around in their chairs? If they can't sit up straight (unless they're disabled) they shouldn't be in the audience.
My niece who Satan tried to cause the doctors to abort...but my niece refused. Because of serious heart murmur her second valve in her 20's was about to get married, failed early this year. She was special to me her uncle and her mom and grandmother. She was to be wed June 15th my birthday. She on holidays would attempt to make deserts I liked would apologize say I'm sorry not so good uncle. I would say as long as your hands made it its wonderful... Love and miss you lexi...

What an anointed song. I had the honor to sing this for my mother, who too went home to be with the Lord 2014.

I just lost my wife of 32 years in January. This song reminds me of her love for me and for her savior
she had just lost her dad and was fighting breast cancer when she sang this....it's one of my favorites...
Amazing. I want to sing that so much but I don't have the control she has and my mother has been gone 2 years.
reminded me of my late dad the first time I heard it as well
I met Janet years ago. She told me she originally wrote this song about her Grandmother. What a beautiful song.
one of mine too heard this after I had lost my dad
I remember when she sang with evangelist jimmy swaggart in 1986 when the program was aired on The bandeirantes network channel here in BRAZIL
My mom and dad are home. Oh how I miss them. Come quickly Lord Jesus!
Summer's almost over
How time slips away
Seasons aren't the same without you here
And i know you're up in heaven
But i miss you anyway
And i guess i'm doing fine
I've learned to take it day by day
But i can't help but wonder ever since you went away
How are things at home?
Is it all your heart dreamed it would be
And more than simple faith that you believe
Is it bright and fair
And does the sound of children fill the air
No one there is hurting or alone
Oh how much i wonder, wonder how are things at home
They say the mercy river flows beyond the shining sea
It's fashioned by the very hand of god
And they say that death can never live inside the city walls
Sorrow is a stranger and no teardrop ever falls
But more and more my heart can't wait to come to where you are
How are things at home
Is it all your heart dreamed it would be
And more than simple faith that you believe
Is it bright and fair
And does the sound of children fill the air
No one there is hurting or alone
Oh how much i wonder, wonder how are things at home
Oh how much i wonder, wonder how are things at home
How are things at home?

I'm distracted by the extra special people in the padded armchairs in the background but the song is very nice.
