looks like a great piece of hardware and cheap. this iis especially good if you can't afford to get the rane 57 mixer, or you're playing in clubs that don't have one. nice.
listen man, i just got the nano pad and this tutorial was awesome. you really helped me figure this out. Thanks for taking the time out to educate people on this! big props!
nice.. i got my ttm and my maudio trigger finnger running. works awsome. have not had any problems yet. I Know what your sayin in the clubs its hard to see the little buttons so thats why i use my pad to..
@djyannaki : I have been pondering this myself, I think I am going to go with LPD8 simply because of the knobs. I would trade the XY touch pad and some buttons for 8 knobs, better functionality imo.
I bought the tables from a friend who already had the covers... they are your run of the mill 1200 covers...Im going to get them painted soon though...not so "smurfy" this time ;)
they havent released any information since their inital announcement.... but the "livefeed" option in 1.9 is kinda a hint of things to come with ableton merger
I had none at all, but Ive read that some computers do... if you have an express cardslot you might want to look into an 800 firewire card and harddrive (If thats where you store your music) check out my other video on the 500gb harddrive.
@djjoshuacarl Nice video bro, I might just grab it, seems like fun, but there's a lot of preparation needed in order to really use it in a flash/smooth way :) And thank goodness for the reggae horn being a pre-loaded sample, it's probably the first thing I'll remove :P
click midi CTrl + ALT + loop roll amount (under the deck) 1/32 ,1/4, 1 ect ect once its highlighted, click the midi pad. konnix has a fool-prrof vid if u cant figure it out. I talk about it in this video in detail. watch it again
im havin trouble gettin it to work with serato. Im on 1.8.3 and installed the korg kontrol editor but cant figure out how to assign the loops/samples. help!
how do you tell the program what to do on wich button? iis it hard to map this device? i'm thinking of buying it for my scratch live but i am a total beginner concerned midi.
Ok like mize is cuming in the mail frm muisc friend so I'm a lazy guy is so can I load hole hooks on the pad cuz wen I lay down the hook I just would load the hook on the right spots on the beat so will it hold hole hooks 4 a song?
It comes standard on the Dell Xps and I believe even the dell studio as well (but the studio isnt as ballsy as the xps', so I wouldnt get it if ur gonna try video)

Nice one, I'm interested to see what they come up with.
nice, thanks for postin, i was lookin for somethin like this, quick question, can you use the xy to scroll through your crates?
verryyy goood i bought it todayyyyyy i really recommend it to any serato scratch live users
Very good video! excelent explaination!
yes, it does... it just needs to be manually mapped through their midi function.
mapping in serato is 100% easier and an be done on the fly.

Thanks for this. Informative. On my way to GC.
Nice... Just wish I could get than six samples out of my korg nano pad though serato
@kbon goto the korg site and download the installation instructions carefully
when I downloaded 1.9 the "reggae horns" was a pre-loaded sample.
all the others I got from a Battle record I ripped into sertato
Great Video. Where are the Samples loaded in 1.9? I just upgraded and don't see them?
@corebot85 They just made a Garageband-Logic template for nanopad. It's on korg's website. My nano comes in 3 days! So excited!
hahahhha! that fog horn never gets old! last weekend when i were in a club i must have heard it atleast thousand times!! THO-TTHHOOOOO!!
no prob man. your vid started it all. lol
as far as the mini kp heed my warning about the low ouput.
I thought so too at first... but it hasnt happend yet... and I pound on it.
eventually, when I get the MBP I wont be able to put it therer anymore.
they havent released any information since their inital announcement.... but the "livefeed" option in 1.9 is kinda a hint of things to come with ableton merger
nice vid man!I'm getting my nanopad in a few daysXD...however I think the black version would suit you better with your set;)

@DjBigFernando U can, there's 6 samples, and 4 banks = 24 samples!
its a midi-controller...you'd have to check that programs particulars. I dont have it.
I imagine it does.

Ive seen some people try to set that up and its a bit awkward...I tried to assign the x/y to some knobs, and its just difficult
im havin trouble gettin it to work with serato. Im on 1.8.3 and installed the korg kontrol editor but cant figure out how to assign the loops/samples. help!

Dicers are the best
Is the Ableton/Serato collab going to mean you can run both programmes on one machine? Any more detail on what they have planned?

so in theory you could tap/drum cue points to mix songs? great review btw, you should do more on your other gear. J
I went vista 32 with no issues.
Do you need to have the TTM57SL mixer for this to work?
the dicer seems to be able to do the same...now can you set this up with the efx for 2.1?
check out my other video:
VSL1 1 take 1
ITS all about that.
Ive pretty much never had a crash
Hey man what program do you use its 2012 this year does it still work with the new updated scratch live
How did you get "Loop Roll" asigned?
how you get the blue tables ???
whould it work with virtual dj?
Yeah but that damn usb cable is in the way of the pitch on the left deck.
what program you use in your laptop?
how can i prog. loop rolls ?
don't you risk accidentally engaging for "F" keys under that thing?
It comes standard on the Dell Xps and I believe even the dell studio as well (but the studio isnt as ballsy as the xps', so I wouldnt get it if ur gonna try video)
