I like how there are so many different ways to play Snake. I play a sort of bait-and-punish style where I bait my opponents to approach and walk into my traps, and box them with Snake’s aerials and tilts, Ally plays a fairly aggressive style, MVD is more of a zoner.
Mvd plays snake to the tea, he forces opponents to make mistakes and plays off of that and ally plays aggressive so it makes opponents fear his aggressive play, I think as a snake main myself I think you should have both passive and aggressive
As a fellow snake main I feel that early game you should go aggro and make sure to get as much damage on them as possible, and when you are high percent start playing a little more passively to keep them from dealing any more damage to you Also POWAH DUNK POWAH DUNK POWUH SLAYUM POWUH SLAYUM
A lot of people complain about snake just spamming grenades and projectiles, but you can pick a lot of moments from these sets and pause the video just to see how well placed and deliberate the zone that these players are setting up is, it really is next level stuff

They play about as different snakes as possible, and both see great levels of success with their different play styles.

It's because Snake is constantly moving around, and his projectiles are unconventional. His zoning is setting up a lot of traps and obstacles rather than just throwing something to hit the opponent.
Hardcore PS gamer here, but everyone knows of Smash. My gfs brother recently gave us his WiiU cuz he got the switch and I was so upset to learn Snake was taken out of SSB4. My all time fav and best character left out on the game I got. All these videos are prime examples of why Snake is overall one of the best at close and far range. Very well done to all these players

I’ve been playing snake recently and I convinced he’s the worst chatter in the game, he’s so slow, he has no landing options, no combos, I get comboed so hard, I don’t get what I’m doing wrong, I do what the pros say and spam grenades, up tilt, c4, nakeda and I still lose whyyyyy 😭😭😭😭😭 the grenades take way too long to explode and if I cook them then the opponent approaches me then grabs even I shield and I’m fucked what do I do what do I do, this charter is so ass
Farmer with A shotgun Try b-reversing your grenades in the air to mix up your landing. Don’t spam things. Use them strategically. Throw the grenades to force your opponent to react to them, then make a note of how your opponent reacts so you can punish them. Holding b to buffer grenades in combos is a good way to break out. If your opponent approaches, don’t react the same way every time to allow yourself to be grabbed. Stuff their approach with dash attack, and if they try to mix it up with an offensive option, b reverse a grenade and shield, this will force them to hit the grenade and blow up, and that will put them at a good angle to be hit by a rising back air out of shield.
Hes not Op at high level. He gets bodied in disadvantage. Hes heavy because he hurts himself. Hes pretty balanced tbh. And hes really hard to play at high level. Also he loses to like 8-11 characters depending on who you ask. And hes 9-15th in the tierlist depending which pro you ask
@@NVS_Snake It's probably more of the lack of "top tier" Snake mains tbh. A lot of people probably wouldn't think Joker was top 3 if it wasn't for Leo. Snake dropped off substantially after Ally got banned for dropping games for Zack. MVD is great but he wasn't really as good as Ally besides the Samus matchup. I don't think Snake really loses any more than 5 actually meaningful matchups, those being Samus, Megaman, Joker, ZSS, and GW. A lot of people think Pikachu beats Snake, but notice that ESAM historically rarely fights MVD's Snake with Pikachu, but opts to counterpick to Samus instead.

I know you said this 5 months ago. But MVD is pretty sick. Against certain characters he plays careful. Others he plays pretty aggressive and tactical. But against DK and Ganon, he said its easier to camp. You dont want DK to grab you
