If anything builders are EASIER to get value out of because the power has been taken out of the stationary unthinking buildings and put into a player capable of critical thinking and using context. Sym is her own story, since shes just intentionally kept garbage. Builders in general dont even work in 5v5 anyway, which is why torb become just another gun character. How are you going to make turrets provide adequate value when fights are so fluid and uncontained? TF2's engineer works not only because of choke points and more contained frontlines, but also because he as a character just isnt as good at fighting, and is about supporting his buildings where builders in OW just dont. They are place and forget, replace when they get got.
12:50 (Commented too early lol) iirc the reason lfg didn't get ported to ow2 was because of a lack of desire/resources to moderate it. Yeah it didn't get used a ton when compared to the rest of the playerbase, but many people still used it. From what I remember, the biggest issue was that people were using it to profile scour and harrass people who didn't have perfect statistics. Which could be fixed by a clan system based off of hero preferences or smth. Edit: forgot the rampant smurfing, boosting, and account selling. Which was (and still is) a BIG moderation issue. But just restrict certain words or phrases from being put in title or accounts below a certain age from creating a group.
I think the issue with OW1’s LFG is that it was 90% (toxic) DPS players looking for teammates to avoid queue times, and then they would flame their tanks and supports when it wasn’t instantaneous success. Additionally, OW1 heavily punished 6-5 stacking teams but putting you against disproportionately ranked teams.
Hot take: Overwatch creators (streamers, youtubers, etc.) are the voices that strongly sway the emotional responses from the community. Positive voices (emongg, ml7) encourage players to be introspective and enjoy the game for what it is, practice and succeed. Negative voices justify the community to believe the game is dead, bad, broken, unfair, biased, etc..( essentially zero accountability for themselves)with their criticism that comes off more so vile instead of constructive. Overwatch does deserve a lot of criticism but cynical creators create a toxic community.
Not to play devils advocate lol, but a brand new hero is a little more interesting than kiri being A-S tier for 10 seasons straight. The juno fatigue just hadn't set in yet.
I mean it could be more people playing but less people enjoying the game. I started back around mid season 8, which was the best season, after close to a year not playing much. I've been playing since then, but the game has never felt as good since season 8. Everyone having a million HP just encourages low skill behavior. People played way more disciplined back then, turning a corner was actually dangerous.
@@MetroAndroid why would more people play it if it was less fun, it would be one thing if it stayed the same but player count went up. Unless a bunch of new people started playing because of health changes, most existing players prefer it.
Kiri is literally one of the best supports in the game. XD She has literally never been bad. She's like Bap. This is probably a DPS masking as a supporting who keeps losing because they never heal.
Yeah she takes some skill. Takes aim and reaction time and positioning. Metal ranks sucks at all of these so they pick kiri as a counter then soft-throw because they can't use her well
Push, Flashpoint, and Clash are ALL better than 2cp for a very simple reason: they allow for back-and-forth and comebacks. They're like a tug of war. 2cp is either an instant stomp or bashing your head against a wall until the time runs out. Not saying the new modes have no problems (I hate the long runs with Push and Clash started getting really stompy for some reason) but ona fundamental level they have more opportunities for comebacks and engagement. No idea why people want 2cp back other than map aesthetics, which thankfully will be brought back with Clash.
The KIRIKO hottake is from lower ranks because her KUNAI is so hard to hit if you don't have good aim because the projectile size is so small. Same with Illari. It's much EASIER to hit enemies and provide pressure with Ana, Bap, juno, zen, lifeweaver and even moria orbs.
Imo, torb is the most fun hero to play beside Winston and wrecking ball. The way u can change from long way pressure to an angry dwarf running the enemies down while ur turret gives covering fire is so satisfying to me.
The "hot take" about demanding the continuation of the story missions just makes me mad. The developers that worked on the PvE and story content straight up got laid off earlier this year after the Microsoft acquisition. "Laziness" isn't why we're not getting PvE, it's because the people working on it literally lost their jobs because of corporate greed and thus it was cancelled. Not to mention how much ActiBlizz themselves screwed over the development of PvE. "Laziness" was hardly a factor, it was all just corporate bullshit
@@jonasdowner though flawed people enjoyed the PvE we DID get. But behind a paywall and never coming back makes it fall flat. This was the scraps they had that ActiBlizz didn’t support, hire, or fund. So I’m glad they could make SOMETHING with the time they spent and it was serviceable. However idk if we can say if it was bad since the final product was never finished. If we did get a final product though I think it would be half baked since!!! It’s hard to make stuff when your company is firing your coworkers and isn’t hiring, and you can’t get overtime or resources because there’s no money going into it!!
This right here. Leadership screwed over workers, developers who are actually passionate about what they do and calling it lazy is a deeply ignorant, childish, uninformed take.
very hot take: free to play was a net negative. i love overwatch being accessible, but its responsible for many negatives that cause burnout. any cosmetics are behind a giant paywall, toxicity and controversy are at an all time high, no one is in voice, and a small percentage of the playerbase is actually passionate, causing for unreliable feedback.
I don't enjoy sym or torb too much.. i love illari though. I find it really fun to find places where Pylon is useful but very difficult for the enemy to shoot. But I also just like her weapon fire more than the rest of supports. she feels like a great support pick for dmg mains
Hot/lukewarm take about OW2 modes: Push is horrible, winning a tough teamfight, pushing back to middle, die to some dps/sup ult and lose all the "progress" is one of the worst sensations playing overwatch Clash is ok, it has some obvious issues but has a big potential to get way better And Flashpoint is the best OW2 mode, it has some time between points to reagroup and chance tactics, it is fun to chance from point to point and know each secrets and pahts, with the speed boost on spaws the gamemode is so fluid now, and is awesome and rewarding to turn a possible defeat like 2-0 or 2-1 in a win
Hot Take: Sombra's invisibility will never be good as long as she is allowed to attack right from inside Stealth. The sheer ability to always have the first say on any engagement without any telegraph makes it so interactions are extremely polarized, leading to Sombra either being nerfed to oblivion, or being incredibly oppressive. This kind of invisibility is unhealthy for the game, and should be completely reworked. Sombra has already been reworked a myriad of times before, but her invisibility has more or less always kept the same, which is the root problem here.
Hot take: KarQ doesn't care about newer players. If he did, he would push for LFGs. So new players can find their own friends to play with. How many new players play a couple games, realize no one talks, and then just switches back to Apex? Or any other game.
"Push for it" you realize he's not a Blizzard executive, right? He's just a streamer lol. He doesn't owe you anything and nothing he says will convince blizzard to hire a team to implement it.
I literally don't like playing CS 2 because everyone's talking in vc all the time(which usually means a lot of swear words and calling names, not a lot of meaningful conversations), I can't just relax and focus on the game itself, like you know, shooting, thinking about my strategy etc. Why do I have to listen to that noise?
14:30 This is probably the worst take I've ever seen in these lol, I think people would play LESS if they did less damage because most people would just not feel like they are ever accomplishing anything, and receiving damage is not exactly fun either.
Honestly I'd love to see them add a builder tank. No idea how it would work, could make towers for high ground and cover for teammates or make short lived low walls which turn into boulders to push enemies out the way. I just think it could be cool. And annoying.
hot take: you are wrong karq. as a new player i want LFG so bad and no one irl is as obsessed with the game as me! solo queuing is so bad in this game and any time someone picks me up they leave as soon as we get a loss
Yesterday i queued as support for 12 minutes for a match that lasted 3:48. And im diamond 5, not gm or smth HOT TAKE: Add an option "i dont care about matchmaking quality, just let me in the match" I dont mind having wide range of ranks in my matches, i just want to play
Builder tank could be something like instead of deploying a shield or wear a shield, maybe you deploy a block of minecraft 1x1m blop and that's your shield
Hot take: Mauga is ragged on wayyyyyyy too much. I might be biased as a mauga otp, but i’ve found when playing other characters, it’s way more fun to play against mauga, than orisa. So when people complain about mauga buffs it really grinds my gears, wouldn’t you rather play against mauga than orisa?
I think it depends on the player. As a tank player, I fucking hate mauga. I hate playing against him, i hate his design, just everything. All he does is shoot me for the entire game. He presses E, and immediately gets to just take space from me cause he's basically unkillable. I get solo ulted by him constantly. So I'd rather play against an orisa. But dps and support players would probably tell you that playing against orisa is worse. Orisa has more ways of mitigating the damage that dps and support players do. Her damage is also somewhat negligible to tanks, but to squishies she can just randomly kill you across the map with a spear into no damage falloff projectiles.
No, I would rather go against Orisa. As a tank, facing Mauga is far worse, as a DPS, I'm getting shot more, but at least the tank isn't insta dying and holding ground, as a support, I have to pump all the heals into the tank so they just don't die. The only positive thing about playing against a Mauga is that he is easier to counter.
I don't care to play a builder hero, but I wish we had a tank and a second support. Just for the concept/meme. Marvel Rivals had Penny Parker doing some building right? A slow construction would work on tank imo
Hot take: the faster ult generation and ult charge retention when getting your ult canceled in OW classic is more fun and should be in standard qp. More ults gives more chances for people who want to practice and for those who want to mess around and try to 1v5 dragonblade (me)
@@ToddyBaconJr generation isn't equal to management. If everyone has an ult heroes become a single button characters. Lost your ult then you have no valuable CD's untill the end of the fight due to they aren't as much impactful as many ults. Like in goats meta when it was impossible to do anything without pressing Q
@@BabaYa9a you wouldn't lose your ult cause of the ult retention when it gets canceled but I see your point. I still don't think this would be that big an issue with 5v5 and if it was just for quick play. If it's too crazy I suppose just the ult retention would be nice
Hot Take: Cooldowns are the worst way to balance something, If an ability is annoying to play against and easy to use but it has a long cooldown, then its not actually balanced, you're delaying the pain not fixing it, any high value ability should be hard to use/ situational not an end all be all to any problem you throw at it
Hot take : Symmetra is outclassed by EVERY dps, no exception. She is the weakest character in the game by far, she relies way too heavily on her beam which requires set up and even when her beam is level 3 it goes down very quickly and if she even tries to walk up to do damage with her beam she gets blitzed by the dps. They should bring her orbs to 120 damage, the same as Junkrat.
@@z1orr91 I would argue that it's the teleporter that keeps her from getting any real buffs. That ability is so good in coordinated play that the rest of her kit has to be kept sort of bad as compensation.
@mag1ckyle799 fr, symm is like having an extra 1/2 support, and Mei is like having an extra 1/2 tank. They often define a good rush comp at pro levels. My related hot take: dps either needs more of those high utility heroes, or said high utility should be removed from the dps role.
Idk if this is a hot take but it’s out there. What if we had a gamemode similar to Valorant’s bomb. I think this would work better in 6v6 so you (logically) would split teams 1-1-1 on both sides. I think another offense/defense game would be nice
Hot take: the problem with both 5v5 and 6v6 are off tank players. Having a bad tank in 5v5 is basically the same as not having a main tank in 6v6. When moving to overwatch 2, off tank players should've either learn how to be a proper tank or move to dps. Bonus take: those who complain are just sad that they can't run around as hog while someone else tanks for them
I have a related take: dps players should don the "off tank" role by simply peeling for their team. Of course, this won't happen, though, because dps players just wanna shooty shoot gun time.
Hot take, now having nerfed juno ult, her auto aim ability has too much damage for its purpose. the, i hink idea, was a lead the charge ability and so when in a one on one she has too much "free" damage off of it, my idea just make it easier to dodge rather than lower damage
Ngl, Kiriko is definitely less fun for me personally since season 9. They changed health pools so she can 2 tap 225s now, but I just miss 2 tapping like you could pre season 9. I know her 2 tapping may not have been good for the game, but it's definitely less fun feeling like you can't really secure kills like you used to. She just feels a lot more spammy with her damage now instead of an assassin like she used to be, and leaving people at 10hp feels just as bad for Kiri as it did for Hanzo pre-buff. Again, maybe better for the game but just less fun.
Hot take: venture is a terrible character gameplay wise, having a design philosophy of up and down is dumb, and having a character who heals with every cooldown feels terrible to play against and leads to boring matchups of sitting and waiting till they come up and die
16:08 Kiriko who has near zen discord dmg on kunai, who has an infinite ammo heal (zen/lucio/brig/mercy only others and she does more healing than them), who has the best escape in the game, who has teamwide invincibility, who has one of the best ultimates in the game, that kiriko?
Kirikos winrate is garbage because shes a comfort pick for new/unskilled valorant players who have Jett as their desktop wallpaper. Kiriko is actually strong, probably 3rd strongest support in the game behind Juno and Ana.
@@Aregulargameplayeri wonder why. She only lost 2 tap to kill and shatter wake up, if I remember correctly. She is still one of the most overkitted heroes. With both her offensive and defensive utility being good.
@Bad3abdul well its just my opinion but ive also made it to gm so i only see kiriko being played by really good players. Maybe she aint top 3 to 99% of players but shes objectively top 3 best support when played at their skill ceiling
Hot take: my hot take is why people still playing soldier ? He's outclass by every hero in the game, he doesn't have a unique ability or way to play. He's so easy to counter why would I play soldier instead of sojorun?
Bro, that "builder" tale had to of been a troll lmao. I'm still giggling. And, I do love precise placement and sneaky plays (why I loved R6S, I was doing gnarly shit on Ela as soon as she came out. Cause my map knowledge was savage. So, I'd blow open hollow walls with two panels like on Oregon. And put the Grzmot deep inside, and go to the other side and shoot a tiny hole at a huge diagonal that allows LOS right in the center of the hallway but 0 sight of the mine unless you laid down and looked in from the angle defenders had. Or, a little hole in the floor and put razorwire over it etc. But, OW ain't that lmao).
No I kinda understand the dont play above your rank thing. When you are in low ranks its probably better to shit on your opponent mechanically than to play smart
I'm not sure what's with the tank hate, personally I have always loved tank, I feel like a more superior DPS most times with all the kills you can get. Seems like whether I tank or not that the tank gets more elims/damage than the DPS's more times than not. What's not fun about living forever and getting lots of kills?? How is tank NOT more popular? tbh DPS is lowkey my least favorite role of the 3 to play lol
I feel like it's the least rewarding role to play when no one is using comms. When everyone is doing whatever they want, it's still the tank that's going to get flamed because it's the enemy tank that bullies your team more often than not. As tank it's very hard to realise if your whole team has gone off and died before it's too late, and then you're the one who's going to be bursted down with no one to support you. There's also supports in stacks who will only heal their friends most of the time and ignore the tank unless the tank is part of the group
@ eh I suppose, I guess being alone as tank since the game switched to 5v5 it’s pretty easy to get rolled if the tank is having a rough game or just plain throwing. Once the tank dies the whole team is screwed, especially if the enemy tank is still alive too. i feel like supports are usually the first to get blamed though for lack of heals. Either way, I’d pick at least 3 or 4 tanks over any DPS in order to secure elims anyday
@@BendyDH yeah I had a game where this Reinhardt would just spawn, charge and die and when i told him to wait for everyone to respawn so we can make a coordinated attack he refused to do so and said he only cared about the objective
I think it's because tanks then have to have some tradeoff for their high damage which is in the form of having less health. But then also being tankier than others while doing so much damage and getting to have much of the CC, the tank is the most important person for everyone to focus. But they have the less health, meaning they're not equipped as well as they'd like to be to deal with that high level of focus and results in tank players having a less fun time. Like it's no surprise that almost everyone is swapping their hero choice based on what the enemy tank is playing, they're kind of forced to and it takes away from the tank players fun.
I know i already have one, but hot take every single projectile, all of them need fall of or to be reworked, mei alt fire is spammy, hanzo is spammy, pharah spammy, ect ect, all of them need fall off
I must me an outlier for Overwatch. I love all the new modes and maps. I feel like I have agency in 5v5 and love feeling like I can have an impact. I dread the return of 6v6 where the team comp and play will rule over individual output. Pick the correct characters or die as a team was no fun the first time and will be less so now that we have seen the alternative.
I love how the dude at 6:35 thinks randos online can just tell blizzard to continue PVE as if they didn't cancel it a year ago and fire the workforce and cut the budget lol. You gonna order the employees back to work or something?
I don''t think the game should be balanced top to bottom, top players can be super out of touch when it comes to players who aren't as good and they tend to want to balance on what they personally want instead of what's healthy for the game. Like Sombra getting nerfed higher level players insisted she was fine and we needed to learn to play against her but there was a clearly large amount of players that thought she was to strong. They should balance somewhere in the middle so newer players don't need to deal with the toxic characters and higher tier players can use their longer play time to point things out. it should never be based on one part of the player base.
I think one critical piece is that high rank players play too much, meaning they'll be sick of the sort of bullsht balance that makes the game fun. Stuff like junkensteins lab, ow classic, quickplay hacked are fun not because they're good, but because they're a change of pace.
Before the last buffs Kiri received she wasn't weak, but she wasn't strong either, she has been "ok" since season 9. I think she's better now after the buffs, flanking a bit more, more active and engaging.
I have 20% winrate on kiri this season and shes been my main since i touched the game I have triple that winrate on ana which i have like 5h of game play on And 80% on juno i have a positive winrate on mercy for christ sake But not the versatile hero that can healbot if she wants or do damage
im no cc and me and my friends prefer 5v5, im a main tank since always and the pacing of the game and the impact every character gets with 5v5 is way better than the stale gameplay 6v6 offered at the end of OW1, my take is that most people is bad at the game and really need to justify not getting better "its never the players fault". teams are symmetrical, you get the same chances as the other team to win and hate to 5v5 most likely is just a talking point adopted from bitter content creators thar love engagement from hate
No. Just no. JQ is significantly harder to play than moira. Yes she has a shotgun. You still have to aim that shit. JQ also doesn't get the life stealing from her primary fire the way moira does. If JQ misses her abilities, she gets no healing. Moira does not have this problem. JQ ult also builds slower and is much more impactful, meaning you need to plan how you use it, you need to track cooldowns, etc. Moira gets her ult every fight and can just rip it whenever she wants. Sleep dart coming your way? Just fade. If you are dying to a queen, she has outplayed you. If you're a dps player, just pick widow. What the fuck is queen gonna do to you. If you're a support player, just go ana. Same thing, sit in the back and she can't do shit to you, throw your nade at her when she gets aggressive and is looking for axe swings and she just falls over.
Hot Take: Even competitive games are still games. Unless you are a literal pro in a literal pro league you should not expect pro game play. Especially in the metal ranks. It's a game and we are here to have fun. Yes, we want to win, but that is not the only reason are playing the game. If the game is not fun then why both playing it?
Let's be honest! It's just JUNO that outclasses all Supports! Massive healing while also providing speed😑! Ult is literally the best!!! No downsides! So dumb
"high cooldown because it has high reward" thats the issue. Suzu has 5-man imunity, heal and clease for literally pressing E randomly. Lifeweaver push is worse because you doesnt even need to aim. always the support, the safest role on the safest position doing random things without any risk or skill to deny every effort of the tanks (unironically, the role with highest risk and lowest reward).
Hot take: 2CP is enjoyable and it deserves a comeback, they've already shown several maps some love with reworks/tweaks as well as gameplay numbers (objective speed). Playing 2CP in the Classic event felt good (as good as it could with 2016 heroes) - I'd love to try some of the new heroes/reworked heroes on these maps (outside of pugs).
Idk if this is the right place for it but Suggestion: Dragonblade should ignore armor. Its a niche scenario, ideally you aren’t targeting anyone with armor (besides maybe Brig and Torb). I just think it'd be neat.
Everyone forgets that season 9 was great up until the mid-season patch. The meta was Ball, Sombra, Tracer, Lucio, and Zen because supports couldn't out heal the dps damage because of the dps passive. This forced players to make better decisions because if not they would get deleted and in return made the game much more fun.
Hot take: overwatch ranking system is the worst ranking system ever to be created. one loss take away so much rank but wins give little to nothing. Metal ranks suffer the most in this case (im hard stuck gold and gave up trying to climb due to toxic players and no i will not "become a mechanic god" im still losing matches and not climbing at all no matter how much i improve) due to toxic players, people who dont understand this are the cause of metal hell. im sure theres this kind of thing in higher ranks but im unable to escape the pits of gold hell. in plain terms its unfair and needs to be addressed.
Hot take: They should increase the price of skins. More money in blizzard's pocket will give them the budget to make more cinematic animations, story missions, and give us pve. Whales will be whales.
My personal take on this is to revert back to the old Battle Pass system and charge us $10 every season because I'd rather deal with that than the recolor issue we're having rn
Old battle pass system but with a 15% XP gain increase so 20 to 35% and every page has an additional 2 free nodes for the Freemium players (just an idea)

The reason why we don't have more builders is because they're annoying to play against, shooting turrets and walls is NOT fun, same as for shields...

(Commented too early lol)
iirc the reason lfg didn't get ported to ow2 was because of a lack of desire/resources to moderate it.
Totally concur with your first point.
But Overwatch does deserve a lot of criticism for how it does things though.

That was the *last* thing I expected to come out of KarQ's mouth 💀 9:15
I sorta agree with the take where Aspen popped in, but she can’t say anything, she been playing Juno a lot the last 2 seasons 😂
Not to play devils advocate lol, but a brand new hero is a little more interesting than kiri being A-S tier for 10 seasons straight. The juno fatigue just hadn't set in yet.
10:16 player counts went up permanently after season 9
I mean it could be more people playing but less people enjoying the game. I started back around mid season 8, which was the best season, after close to a year not playing much. I've been playing since then, but the game has never felt as good since season 8. Everyone having a million HP just encourages low skill behavior. People played way more disciplined back then, turning a corner was actually dangerous.
@@MetroAndroid why would more people play it if it was less fun, it would be one thing if it stayed the same but player count went up. Unless a bunch of new people started playing because of health changes, most existing players prefer it.
@@Rando3210 well said man
Kiri is literally one of the best supports in the game. XD She has literally never been bad. She's like Bap. This is probably a DPS masking as a supporting who keeps losing because they never heal.
Kiri is alot harder to play on console vs. PC. Wonder if the complainer plays on console….
Shes had some of the lowest win % on support the last few seasons
@@sz1aen351 That's because most Kiris don't use their heal unless they are duo.
@LadyVineXIII not really, if you ask almost any top player theyre gonna tell you she wasnt that good in those seasons
No idea why people want 2cp back other than map aesthetics, which thankfully will be brought back with Clash.
very true. Only one I don't like is flahpoint bc it can take forever, but it's still miles better than 2cp
Push is ass
18:09 a builder tank in overwatch is actually a pretty intriguing concept......
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BEN 🗣
8 days late, but my point still stands
A clan system would be really cool in overwatch.
Hell yeah!
9:15 bro 💀💀
The KIRIKO hottake is from lower ranks because her KUNAI is so hard to hit if you don't have good aim because the projectile size is so small. Same with Illari.
It's much EASIER to hit enemies and provide pressure with Ana, Bap, juno, zen, lifeweaver and even moria orbs.
Wut?????? Illari has a bigger projectile size then every hit scan. Plus she is, of course a hit scan herself
"Laziness" was hardly a factor, it was all just corporate bullshit
pretty sure pve was cut because it was trash.
OW is a moba like pvp game, there is no world where a decent pve game can be built on its skeleton
Kiri players aren’t allowed to have opinions 😭
very hot take: free to play was a net negative. i love overwatch being accessible, but its responsible for many negatives that cause burnout. any cosmetics are behind a giant paywall, toxicity and controversy are at an all time high, no one is in voice, and a small percentage of the playerbase is actually passionate, causing for unreliable feedback.
I don't enjoy sym or torb too much.. i love illari though. I find it really fun to find places where Pylon is useful but very difficult for the enemy to shoot. But I also just like her weapon fire more than the rest of supports. she feels like a great support pick for dmg mains
Hot/lukewarm take about OW2 modes:
Push is horrible, winning a tough teamfight, pushing back to middle, die to some dps/sup ult and lose all the "progress" is one of the worst sensations playing overwatch
Clash is ok, it has some obvious issues but has a big potential to get way better
And Flashpoint is the best OW2 mode, it has some time between points to reagroup and chance tactics, it is fun to chance from point to point and know each secrets and pahts, with the speed boost on spaws the gamemode is so fluid now, and is awesome and rewarding to turn a possible defeat like 2-0 or 2-1 in a win
He already did push for it though lol, dont antagonize him
"Push for it" you realize he's not a Blizzard executive, right? He's just a streamer lol. He doesn't owe you anything and nothing he says will convince blizzard to hire a team to implement it.
I literally don't like playing CS 2 because everyone's talking in vc all the time(which usually means a lot of swear words and calling names, not a lot of meaningful conversations), I can't just relax and focus on the game itself, like you know, shooting, thinking about my strategy etc. Why do I have to listen to that noise?
14:30 This is probably the worst take I've ever seen in these lol, I think people would play LESS if they did less damage because most people would just not feel like they are ever accomplishing anything, and receiving damage is not exactly fun either.
this happened once in a community crafted event and everyone across the board hated it. 😂
I agree. All 3 roles play a big part in a teams success but DPS have the most carry potential
What I recall is LFG was being used heavily to organize derank groups openly and Blizz ignored them.
push has double the first fight advantage of control. you have to get bot to neutral before even beginning to progress.
And im diamond 5, not gm or smth
HOT TAKE: Add an option "i dont care about matchmaking quality, just let me in the match"
I dont mind having wide range of ranks in my matches, i just want to play
Don't know if anyone's heard of The Prodigy's Poison but providing no one's done it yet I'll make a music gameplay video with their song as the bgm
Builder tank could be something like instead of deploying a shield or wear a shield, maybe you deploy a block of minecraft 1x1m blop and that's your shield
I had a very builder-ey shield idea ages ago: lay up to three pillars with shields strung between them.

13:30 Absolutely agree. Why would we listen to people who don’t know what they’re talking about
Hot take: 6v6 should replace open queue. It'll be juste better in every way, and we get to keep 5v5.
5:40 Why would OWL players want 5v5? That would put their tank player out of a job
Hot take: people who types "ezzz" on chat when they win usually if not always were the worst of their team
14:36 this considered, overwatch actually does a great job making tanks fun
Hot take: the faster ult generation and ult charge retention when getting your ult canceled in OW classic is more fun and should be in standard qp. More ults gives more chances for people who want to practice and for those who want to mess around and try to 1v5 dragonblade (me)
And will also led the game to ult management with low skill expression. That's what goats did btw
@BabaYa9a how would there be ult management if you get it every fight, also ult generation was not that fast during goats meta compared to classic
The worst thing is, she'll never get buffed because people hate her turrets so much.
Bonus take: those who complain are just sad that they can't run around as hog while someone else tanks for them
Based take
I have a related take: dps players should don the "off tank" role by simply peeling for their team.
And yet her win rate has been garbage across all ranks for 12 seasons.
Engage with the discussion!
@@closeenoughxp2662 kiri isn't top 3 lol
@Bad3abdul well its just my opinion but ive also made it to gm so i only see kiriko being played by really good players. Maybe she aint top 3 to 99% of players but shes objectively top 3 best support when played at their skill ceiling
Hot take: my hot take is why people still playing soldier ? He's outclass by every hero in the game, he doesn't have a unique ability or way to play. He's so easy to counter why would I play soldier instead of sojorun?
Clan system thing would be really nice
But, OW ain't that lmao).
cold take: EBM324 is definitely the "issue" in all their games.

Hot take: watching to the suggestions video is sad because of all the good ideas that will never be implemented... :(
Bit it is nice when thy occasionally are. Like life Weaver s passive heal recharge
They take suggestions all the time. No they can’t give you everything you want but a lot of things they listen to.
unlike previous team 4, this new team 4 actually is open to experimenting with new stuff. Proof of that is the fact that they will be testing 6v6
Happy birthday Ben
Before the last buffs Kiri received she wasn't weak, but she wasn't strong either, she has been "ok" since season 9. I think she's better now after the buffs, flanking a bit more, more active and engaging.
😂
I have 20% winrate on kiri this season and shes been my main since i touched the game
I have triple that winrate on ana which i have like 5h of game play on
And 80% on juno i have a positive winrate on mercy for christ sake
But not the versatile hero that can healbot if she wants or do damage
im no cc and me and my friends prefer 5v5, im a main tank since always and the pacing of the game and the impact every character gets with 5v5 is way better than the stale gameplay 6v6 offered at the end of OW1, my take is that most people is bad at the game and really need to justify not getting better "its never the players fault". teams are symmetrical, you get the same chances as the other team to win and hate to 5v5 most likely is just a talking point adopted from bitter content creators thar love engagement from hate
Hot Take: JQ is just Moira with Extra steps and more HP
No.
Let's be honest! It's just JUNO that outclasses all Supports! Massive healing while also providing speed😑! Ult is literally the best!!! No downsides! So dumb
Kiriko take is the most brain dead take I've heard.. being able to double tap someone should not be as fun as it is
"high cooldown because it has high reward"
thats the issue.
Karkhives
honestly so many of these "hot takes" come from the literal worst teammates
Hot take: overwatch ranking system is the worst ranking system ever to be created. one loss take away so much rank but wins give little to nothing. Metal ranks suffer the most in this case (im hard stuck gold and gave up trying to climb due to toxic players and no i will not "become a mechanic god" im still losing matches and not climbing at all no matter how much i improve) due to toxic players, people who dont understand this are the cause of metal hell. im sure theres this kind of thing in higher ranks but im unable to escape the pits of gold hell. in plain terms its unfair and needs to be addressed.
as a kiriko main i stopped playing her as much not because she feels bad or gets out classed but because i’m liking juno rn :)
Hot take: They should increase the price of skins. More money in blizzard's pocket will give them the budget to make more cinematic animations, story missions, and give us pve. Whales will be whales.
How bout no
@Thudd224 I'm calling them rn to make it happen
My personal take on this is to revert back to the old Battle Pass system and charge us $10 every season because I'd rather deal with that than the recolor issue we're having rn
Old battle pass system but with a 15% XP gain increase so 20 to 35% and every page has an additional 2 free nodes for the Freemium players (just an idea)
I agree with this but everyone would cry so hard it’s not worth the money.
