Two cameras and I am looking at the wrong camera lol.
I purchased the Zed Full and one years subscription and it was the most disapointing and worst locksmith investiment I have ever made.
Poor documentation, no support and at a follow-up locksmith convention the Zed Full gang were running for cover.
I might buy a one month subscription to try it out again and see if it has improved.
Bottom Line: I kept my Hotwire and invested in a MVP Pro.
I will post some videos of the Zed Full in action or inaction soon.

They didn’t even explain why they don’t like it? Zedfull is one of the best machines on the market. Best for vw and 20 digit Nissan - Also does all Ford smart keys and flip keys. Also does new style remote head key. Much easier to use than mvp.
No one programmer will do everything. I should have known not to buy it when I was the first in Canada and no manual.
I agree that it is the best as a universal programmer for most cars.
Just adding one more voice to the many here denouncing the OP's claim that this tool is bad. I'm a professional automotive specialist locksmith, as well as providing training for various locksmithing and Government groups around the world. The ZedFULL is literally the first tool I pack when doing these overseas jobs as I know I can count on its versatility in the range of programming solutions it offers me.
In my professional opinion, it is a strongest tool I own for pulling pin codes, and it has a very wide range of vehicles it covers.
Most importantly for me, IEA actually develop the software themselves, which means that this tool is a market leader, rather than a follower.
Terry, I think it's a bit of a testament to the fact that this video has had such an outpouring of disagreement that you really haven't done the ZedFULL justice posting this.
I understand that the lack of documentation is unusual for a North American Locksmith, but it's actually the standard. There really wasn't much of a need for documentation right at the beginning anyway, although admittedly, I really rely on it now for the Mercedes modules.
The ZedFULL help forum was also up and running since before the tool was even released, and they have a ton of videos online.
Personally I'd knock a couple of points off the ZF for the lack of documentation compared to the MVP, but to say it was the "Worst Investment Ever" truthfully, probably says more about the user than the tool. Sorry.

In North America, the MVP and Hotwire are better machines.
As professional automotive locksmiths I have to disagree with the original posters comment that it is the worst investment he has ever made. This is our programmer of choice, its capabilities are awesome if you know what you are doing and if you buy time rather than tokens it is cheap to run. It won't of course teach you your trade, that is up to you, but it is very capable and does many vehicles that some other programmers wont touch.
What is the name of your Locksmith company? If you like the product and a professional automotive locksmith post your name. Or even better post a video or two of you using the product.
I don't know what your issues are, it's my tool of choice. perhaps user error/lack of understanding?
Aaron Bruce I was an early adopter and it didn’t work then and took them years to fine tune the product. Finally, now that is works, other newer products are doing a better job and less expensive. Unfortunately, the ZedFull is now a backup car programmer for us. The ZedFull never became our “go to” programmer.

I use my Zed-full everyday, very happy with it. Just used it on a 06 Ranger Rover, EEPROM programmed it seconds. Total job 15 minutes, I actually found this while reseraching buying a second one for my shop. I have TCP Patriot, full Hotwire also but this is a welcome addition to my tools. Sorry you don't like yours. I focus on cars and its very valuable to me.
As a dedicated autolocksmith in the United Kingdom, I`ve been using Zedbull for just over a year now and its Gradually taking over from my other programmers (AD 100 pro, arbrites, MVP etc) As I buy additional software packages. Like every other programmer it Takes time to get to know how to use properly and has its limitations at the moment. That said, Its almost paid for itself already and gets better with every update. Its better than MVP and AD100 pro on lots of cars and the development of the Mercedes setup is getting stronger every day. I'm doing quite a few mercedes with very little eeprom work necessary.
AD 100 pro is practically useless on BMW and yet I've had some great results using zed full on the same cars.
Great Tool in the right circumstances and with the right training in how to use it.
unlike its predecessor, the ZedBULL which was only much use as a cloner.
its wrong to write off this machine simply because you haven't the training or skills to use it correctly.
This is a superior tool but it is just like the other tools it has limitations ,learn your limits to be succeeded..and to know when and how to use it ..

danny gabbitus I have no major problems with the MVP Pro and Hotmail.
Zedfull has made its stride in our industry heavily. Let me point some examples about its functionality as a all in one tool forget it's standard obd applications.
Zedfull is the only tool i know which produce it's own fist Fiat remotes. Before the Chinese stuff came out into the market, zedfull had it's own remotes and they're brilliant- the China ones have failed on me and get their psrt numbers wrong. Before you would have to go to the main dealer to get a remote. And I haven't seen any Chinese ones do the id48 remote keys.
Zedfull saved me a hell of a lot of money. I was about to buy the supervag to do the uds vag cluster jobs and IEA came out with a co2 probe to do the job - amazing!
It also does merc - probably the worst thing about it I must admit. I don't have the package itself but haven't heard great things about it. Despite this it still has functionality.
It does your pin code and vin conversions.
I've done bmw slot keys where avdi' s £3000+ bmw package couldn't do. And they're stepping up their game with BMW'S. Not to say it will be the best but it has served as a good backup and gotten me out of situations before. And it renews some China remotes too
Eeprom applications are great! It does some stuff that you have to pay mega bucks for on TM PRO and does some eeprom reading that you can't even do on orange. As a tool whereby it does the reading, image generation and writing of the eeprom it's great because you don't have to question whether you have to write back to the immo and what voltage etc .
Transponder generation is great and does some cars that I don't think you can even find on other software. E.g. corsa d transponder
I could bang on about it all day but for someone who uses it daily I cannot fault it.
Yes it rips you off with the tokens but it carries a lot within it as a device. The old boys who thought zedfull was just a toy are now buying it.
I tried several times to program the chip for the scooter when the lost key situation, zedfull indicated that it was correct, but the scooter would not start, and my colleague could not make a chip for the scooter either. Zedfull does not read eeprom correctly, but spends a lot of credits. Ford chip 80bit not cloning, silca is cloning.
ZedFull is a good programmer, but also has a lot of problems.
Don't judge a book by it's cover.

I think you need to update this tool. It's my go to tool. Everything your saying is wrong.
You'll like it a lot better now. You bought it the same time I did and I was initially disappointed as well. It's come a long way.

It's excellent on Ford and has year/make/model selection for most of them now. It's pretty good on BMW and VW, but of course nothing is 100% on them.

in all honesty the zeful is more hit than miss. this product has bailed me out of issues that the mvp has encountered. almost all my bmw and mercedes are done with the zedful.
When we have some time we will try the Zed Full again and see if it is better. I admit we where an early adopter, first in Canada, but our MVPs and Hotwire is our go to machines.

I have the MVP.Takes a token on some vehicles without even programming the key in.Says "procedure complete" but the key is not even programmed!

Best tool for cas3 cas3+, you just need some training, ironically RUclips is the best plase for it, good luck with the one mond subscription and let me know if you want to sell it
Not all locksmiths are equal.
The zed full is good if you have learn it! There is no tech support or usefull manual. that is their biggest problem.
This programmer is to complete with your other machines. it can not stand by itself! it can not do old standard cars like ford type 1 or Nissan type 3 and some newer like lexus prox 6&7 which a $200 machine can! for the other end yes they can program BMW up to 3+ (limited) ,MB up to 2006-7 and vag up to 2009 its a 2min job, which your MVP can't.
IF THIS PROGRAMER HAD A TECH SUPPORT LIKE MVP IT COULD BE #1 CHOICE OF EVERY SERIOUS LOCKSMITH.
No tech support or user manual.
Oh come on you don't know even how to use the zeddy. for me its the best immo tool in the market.
Stick with it guys. Once you figure it out its invaluable.

Blair Middleton lots of inexpensive Chinese made Auto Programer’s, however, I have not found a good one yet. I use the MVP Pro and Hotwire. Not inexpensive but we do a good volume of cars / trucks per month.

Yes I have a couple of the Asian ones believe it or not the Skp900 is quite reliable for a cheaper machine and comes with a support list which is an added plus. Father & Son Locksmith have some good videos of it in use. Thanks for your feed back, will definitely look into Hotwire & MVP pro further.

Always had great support from IEA and lucky to never need any problems with the tool sorting out, had my Zed Full since 2014 and my Zed Bull before that, both tools still going strong.

My most expensive tool ,need pay to token+separatly pay to open many licenses,
many time no comunication with suported cars(vw,toyota,renault ,alfa) ,pc software stuck , send file for suport mostly not work ,
answer from suport come after 2days or never, max value 1000usd

Mate, why you are not deleting this video? Everyone knows that the Zed-Full is a good equipment, it programmed an Opel Astra H (2008) key in less than a minute.
Dave we use the ZedFull in North America. No Opel’s here.
I agree with this, but I know that you have a lot of Audi and Volkswagen.
Golf 6 2009 10 minute job (if the car has min. 1 working key), Audi with BCM2 10 minute job, these keys are not cheap at the dealer and Zed-Full can make them without any problem. It can make also BMW CAS4 keys (~2007-2013~), so I not know what is your problem with the Zed-Full.
Ford, Chrysler, Honda...
It can do the latest Ford Focus, Transit 2015 keys, from 2001 to 2016 Chryslers (incl. Chrysler 200 2016), Honda CRV/Civic 2013 and many many more.
I still not know what is Your problem with the ZF.
Just had dinner today with an Automotive Locksmith in Seattle WA and he said he should have listened to me, he bought the ZedFull despite watching this video and now hates the ZedFull. He now has a MVP Pro.

I got it at just cars in 2015 and have used it for my main programmer MVP gets used about once a month.
If you don't keep it updated it wont work properly.
Ive done some BMW cas3 and ews modules with no issues.
If you don't know what you doing any tool will be useless. I'm doing car keys and immo repairs and it my tool number one for last couple of years. It not 100% (like any universal tools) but get better with regular update. You can get lots of info and instructions on specific vehicals on offecial forums and special channels here on YTube. Don't blame product just because you don't know how to use it.
I purchased one of the first units and extremely disappointed with the Zed Full performance and support. I use the MVP Pro and Hotwire daily with minimal problems. However, I will buy a one month subscription and test the Zed Full.

Some people can't hide their prejudice and real motives. The zedfull is not American like hotwire or MVP. It's not the machine that's disappointing, it's people who claim to be an authority in the locksmith business and talk without showing proof. Hotwire is an excellent machine but has no European vehicles whatsoever. MVP is primitive when it comes to VAG and has no other European vehicle capabilities. Show us comparisons, pros & cons of each, and the proof Mr. Yates!

It work's great, Its easy and fast. The instructions are all on the screen but I do agree that there isn't a lot of help online but that can change.
I use the MVP Pro and the Hotwire, both have their advantages and disadvantages. If I could only chose one it would be the MVP Pro

Mr. Locksmith I'm from Germany. The Deutsche Telekom (DTAG, www.telekom.de) is the largest provider here. ASN 3320. Reconnecting (changing IP address) didn't help, so I believe there was/is an active botnet - cloud based light bulbs, people not updating their IP-cameras etc.
it's been great for us... but literature/manual is definitely lacking.
Just download the latest application guide on their site.I did.
I've had this a while, worst investment I have made.....when I have contacted the suppliers I've been ignored, even when I've gone through Hickleys, lost loads of tokens , sent off the files etc. etc. not a dicky bird, even got the Mercedes kit and that's a disappointment too, went to a w906 the other day would not read blah, blah, blah, lost the job fellow locksmith came along with ARBITES done & dusted in 30 mins, Before any one says you've not done or that etc etc......followed the instructions to the letter, its not the first time its let me down.....been doing this since 1998 so yes I know what I am doing and if I don't I ask for help.....
despite being one of the best tools in the market. I came here to say that. I think he's just doing videos to catch attention. he gave the sec-e9 a bad review. I'm in my second year with it and thank God it has not missed a beat. he's just an attention seeker.

This review is more then 2 years old, and many of the comments condemning these fellows where made more then a year after the video. Software updates, and community support have changed the view on this machine. I won't disrespect these gentlemen by making fun of their age. Im sure they have forgot more then some of you young' folks will ever know. They may also not be doing automotive work exclusively. People should have a bit more respect, just because they don't like your favorite tool, and it is admittedly a good tool, does not mean you should slander.
Just posted a new video on the ZedFull. It works OK after 5+ years of waiting. However, new and better products are passing them now.
@@24hrMrLocksmith Keep your eye on TDB1000, I think it has alot of potential. Don't own it, but the guy who makes it was a lead engineer at AD before he quit and built it on his own.

A completely useless review, no concrete reasons why the product is not good. Can you share why its a bad investment other than it does not have any documentation?

After using zedfull for almost a year, i'm afraid i have to agree with you.
It's a bad investment considering the 4000eu (including vat).
It fails on any diesel car i've tested (europe), very poor performance on vag, bad on nissan, suzuki, renault.
It's also very expensive in use.
To put it simple... i regret buying it.

mseiler34 After 5 yrs we retested and it now works ok. Note: I was an early adopter of the ZedFull and it was not ready for the North American market.

Guys am new in the industry. Am yet to purchase the machines to start with. I have spent a lot of time reading about the machines. I have found ZedFull to be a leader, though its pricy, to begin with. Its very user friendly. You don't need to be an expert to start using it. It covers more vehicles in obd applications, and it also eeproms lot of cars. I think the only challenge is you need to budget, for eproom adapters, and tokens, otherwise I honestly like this machine. If you get stuck, there are 100s of videos in youtube and in ZedFull website.
Esther Majafhe ZedFull is NOT the leader in North America. MVP or Hotwire is the most popular and then some off shore programmers.
Hi Mr Locksmith. I will be using the zed full in Southern Africa, Botswana. I think it rely depends where the machine is used. I might be covering cars that you don't have in North America. In my area, I have VAG, BMW, Benz, Ford, Mazda, am all Japan cars, etc. I have noticed that this machine can do these cars either through obd, or eeprom. Of course I will have to buy extra hardware for Mercedes, and extra adapters for eeprom. On the other hand, MVP pro does not do BMW, or Benz, which are very popular in my area. I was very close to buying MVP Pro, and due to limited car coverage, and stopped. I appreciate your advices
Hi Esther, i use Zefull and other leading equipments...Zedfull its good for Botswana market, however you have to master eeprom work to use it successfully..i locked in Maun,..call me on 75065543..
