This is not a song, this is a prayer. I am 52 year old male, it made me cry. God give me strength.
I'm not a religious man, but this encapsulates faith to me. What else are common folk supposed to do in the face of all of this? Prayer doesn't seem like a bad idea to me tbh. Awesome song.

This is songwriting at it's finest, he's so underrated it's sad. As a born again Christian myself, having allowed the enemy to lose my focus, this song helped me get things right with God and have that peace of knowing you're right with God back. I go through what feels like the same crap over and over too. It's gets beyond exhausting and it's very hard to stay happy. Sometimes I feel like this world is a complete nightmare and I hate it. I'll think to myself gee thanks God for putting here on such a miserable earth.
