Nice explanation. I know a US citizen child(8 yrs old) of Indian parents, born with cancer lagna having sun/moon/ mercury sitting in 8th house aspected by Yogakaraka planet Mars from 2nd house. Both Saturn (Sash Yoga) and Venus are exalted in the horoscope with Jupiter in 10th house.
I find it very strange that the boys horoscope has Sun and Moon placed in the same house in all the divisional charts namely D1, D9, D10 etc. I can see the child having a very sharp and brilliant mind and very brave, the boy is never scared inside dark rooms, attacked by animals etc.
At this point the boys suffers by having to stay away from the father but very attached to the father, both mother and father are professionally well to do and financially well off.
The boys horoscope seems to be ideal for the profession of a doctor or lawyer but will have to see which way his life takes him...

By the way, Sun and Moon are not aspected by Jupiter. That said Saturn/Jupiter/Venus/Mars are all well placed in the horoscope and he will not probably have mahadasha of sun or moon in the first 80 yrs of his life.
I feel Amavasya Yoga will have very minimal effect of this boy and his mind.. but I am not sure and will see ......

do selfless service to others ... a priest told me that amarvasya born are either extremely good persons, or evil minded. In between he inferred was not an option. Do, good deeds daily is my suggestion and accept the depression, show gratitude for iy. Don't try to remedy it as its a mirror to your soul condition. Fix the soul. do seva, dont do remedies!
