Really well played. It highlights how the game changes as you enter the ~1300 rating. Players in this range can miss plenty of things, but they can be stunningly resourceful at times. You've represented us well.
Nice to see the full games... There are always the ideas of a defence. But to see the different setups in full games is pure gold. Thanks man. There is the sub.
Another great instructive video :) , love the pacing in these videos, it moves quick but you still manage to explain all the intricacies of the positions.
No Accelerated Panov or Panov so I'm playing that to give a fighting chance at this level. Also I continue to grind the stronger fantasy variation. I'm starting to really get the feel of it.
This was like watching Bob Ross paint where he does some things where you think he screwed up the painting but by the end the painting comes together and looks amazing
3:30 why not knight e3 take the rook and then check with the queen and take the bishop? And if he moves his bishop you can take the queen. He can go queen e2 and then the bishop is defended and also take your knight after you take the rook, but I think this is better even if it s worth only 2 points if he protects the bishop with his queen on e2
Grateful for the opportunity to play against such a strong opponent, I'm happy that I survived for 60 moves 🤪 (Mitra17 from the last game) 👍
You played extremely well.

Tremendous game.

1:53 why not Qa5, check and then take bishop
dude, my question too
Ng3 blocks the check and defends the bishop though 🤔
You are one slick player. Making it look so easy.

5:00 this was really instructive
Wish there was more Panov or Hillbilly variations, I seem to getting those a lot and its annoying :D
Haha yea I always get hillbilly’s but no one plays the hillbilly gambit
Thank you so instructive!!!!!
Alex, in your Caro Kahn Chessable course there is no Breyer variant which is quite dangerous, do you think about adding it to the course?
What a coincidence I just saw ur very old video in RUclips shorts with Dina and here you are talking about her.

Every time I watch your videos my confidence goes up only to get crushed in my game 😂
