Being that this one is called "sunrise dub" is that because there's an original version of "sunrise" somewhere? But I can't find it. Or maybe this band doesn't know what dub actually means. Which is it? Because this just seems like guys jamming with fx, and no lyrics. Which isn't dub. Dub is basically sampling from many songs, or just one, to create a completely different vibe.
@red eye stones, just saw ur comment, i said let me adress it. you know this band is established in 1995. We open up for Steel Pulse in 1999 already and yes we know what a dub version means. its an edited version of a reggae track using only parts of the vocals and filled with effects. this track right here when we first started it it was filled with effect and even small vocal parts, for that reason we called it Sunrise Dub, but when we recorded it, it came out sounding much better like this and we left the small vocals out. We did not call it Sunrise Instrumental and we released it like this with the original name we gave it when it was a dub. Instrumental tracks are the ones without their vocals in it, mostly for folks who wants to sing karaoke on them nowadays search for instrumental tracks. So that's why we cannot call it instrumental cause the vocals don't exist in this song. So we let the original name on this and figure well this is our dub style, its a lil differente but we have 3 more just like this we play during our life shows, and yes search Moonrise Dub by Honeypot is also another one. its not the dub dub folks are use with. but more like Honeypot Dub.
