  • We had a very busy week at the shop! We went to the Maggie Valley C10 Show in TN and on the way home was searching marketplace for vehicles. Monday morning we got up bright and early to pick up this marketplace score! The next weekend we then went to Sumter Swap Meet in Florida! We had a long week on the road going to shows and picking up the car/parts.

If I ever have a car, I would need it to have power steering, power brakes, automatic transmission, CB radio and of course, use the windows for entry/exit.

The only car we've had recently that had all the options (minus the CB) was our 1962 Cadillac. It's not too bad once you get used to it.

When I had the car the procedure was:
      key on
toggle switch on left of steering wheel on( this one is for the fuel shutoff solenoid)
Cold start timing advance pulled(knob on steering column)
Heat glow plugs for 10 seconds(toggle switch on side of console by your knee)
      Then start car
